This extension closes pinned tabs by clicking "Close Tabs to the left" !!!
Nevertheless a good and helpful web extension. But it shouldn't close pinned tabs when "Close Tabs to the left" is chosen.Developer response
posted 7 years agoPinned Tabs are still Tabs. "Close Tabs to the left" means closing any Tab, not "Close unpinned Tabs to the left".
There has been a request for an option abut Pinned Tabs which will be added in future updates.

Developer response
posted 7 years agoIf I understand you correctly, that is the behaviour of Firefox.

Please post all support questions/requests to the support topic. - Rated 4 out of 5by Sean Ryan, 7 years agoVery useful extension - thanks! A few enhancement requests:
1. Provide an Option to show or suppress the multiple-tab close warning. I would choose not to have warnings.
PS: I have the Firefox Option "Warn you when closing multiple tabs" un-checked - but that setting only suppresses the warning when closing down Firefox. The context menu tab closure warning always shows!
2. Include a) Close tabs to the right b) Close other tabs. Despite these being available on the default Firefox menu, my habit is to look always at FoxyTab sub-menu for close choices. Your brilliant context menu customization options would allow these to be shown/suppressed as per individual preference. Another reason for having these 'default' close options available on the FoxyTab sub-menu is that the FoxyTab close warning suppression feature (requested above) would apply to these.
3. It would be great if we could configure the FoxyTab icon itself to have an action. I would choose to set it to 'Close all tabs and open a new tab'.
PS: I confess to some of these ideas stemming from my use of the "Multi-Tab Close" extension - would like to see all those features wrapped into FoxyTab, too.Developer response

Developer response
posted 7 years agoThat would result in longer names.
This add-on has nothing to do with Tab Mix Plus. Those functions are not available in WebExtension API.

I have 3 questions:
Is it possible to select several tabs by CTRL + CLICK or by SHIFT+CLICK (for continued range) ?
Is it possible to move the sub-menu links directly in menu? It makes many clicks indeed.
Could the little Foxy be less sad ? :)Developer response
posted 7 years agoSelecting multiple tabs is not possible in Firefox.
WebExtension API does not allow moving submenus out of it parent menu item. Only one entry is allowed for each add-on.
If someone makes happy Foxy, I will be happy to use it. :)

I suggest custom set tab-colors or maybe small icons like a small red or yellow dot. Or anything else that is technically possible.Developer response
posted 7 years agoAt the moment, that is not possible with WebExtensions but more Tab customising API is planned.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13427965, 7 years agoThis is a nice extension and I find it very useful. My only feedback is it would be a lot better if the context menu items were directly integrated with the other items instead of in a separate tab. I don't know if that's a limitation of WebExtensions.
Developer response
posted 7 years agoIn WebExtensions, each extension can only create one menu item and all menus come under that single one.
