You can set Google UK as your default search engine through the Options/Preferences page, under the Default Search Engine heading.You can set Google UK as your default search engine by right-clicking the icon on the address bar drop-down and choosing Set As Default Search Engine.
About this extension
This is a basic WebExtensions version of the old Google UK search engine plugin. You can decide after you try it whether to make Google UK your default search engine (see screenshots for how to do that).
