- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15256468, 6 years agoWas very happy with it until Twitter changed its format and Grammarly for Firefox stopped working altogether. (Also have G for Windows installed). While social networking isn't the only reason I use it, it is a major part of it and seeing that there hasn't been an update for a year and a half I'm wondering if there's a solution or workaround coming.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15004206, 6 years agoThere is some bug related to https://www.sciencedirect.com website. Everytime I visit it I am forced to disable Grammarly add-on, because of a message saying that the add-on is slowing down the website and because of a dramatical increase of the CPU load. Please fix this.

The *only way* is to open Menu > Add-ons > select this add-on > Disable it (temporarily)
It would be nice if there's a right-click shortcut to disable it temporarily. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14947575, 6 years agoI'm very happy to have Grammarly for some things. It gives me an extra layer when writing or editing articles in Word or online. But when I'm working online, it causes problems in my browser (Firefox). I haven't tried using it with other browsers such as Chrome, but I will. I keep getting a message that Grammarly is causing pages to hang or otherwise have problems. So I stop the program, and I'm guessing it starts again and has the same problem. Otherwise, I appreciate Grammarly. It's not perfect, and you shouldn't expect it to be, because it's not human. You need to be able to see when it's on the wrong track. It's made me more aware of habits I have and of things I had missed in English class way back in high school.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14770777, 6 years agoThe add-on is very useful. Their services are good. However, this extension is not the best in terms of affecting the user's performance. Google search times nearly double after enabling this extension. Should they optimize this issue, the extension would be amazing.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13097147, 6 years agoWhen it works it works well. My problem is that it is not installed in my programs and I must sign on each time to activate/start the service. Were it in my list of AP's and on my task bar my rating would be a 5-star, N'other words, although it seems to be writer error, I have blamed the AP for the problem. Yes, the last sentence was humor.
