by Coldblackice, 5 years agoDo not use! These scammers are charging money to use this, which is ridiculous, given:
A.) The super simplistic functionality of it. Google any of these tools + "online tool" and you'll see how easily/freely/quickly each can be done right there in the browser
B.) This "developer" isn't the original author of Hackbar, they've merely copied (stolen?) the original and updated it for web-extensions, rebranding it as their own. They've even stolen the old Firefox icon/logo itself to use as their own and recolored it, surely a copyright violation.
There are a handful of other "hackbar" alternative addons that have the exact same functionality yet don't charge a penny. Straight up comical this guy not only tries to charge money, but even as a *monthly* subscription, LOL. At least he gives a "discount" for a year subscription! /s
Really surprised Mozilla allows an addon like this to be hosted on their repository given it charges money, it's clearly not the original author's, and how they've even stolen Mozilla's intellectual property by recoloring the old Firefox icon/logo and using it on an addon that they're making money off of.
I guarantee many or most of these 5-star reviews that trickle in are shill reviews used to inflate their rating in the store.
