- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14439062, 6 years agoWorks initially, but blacklist keeps getting cleared (when updating?). This absolutely needs to be fixed. Otherwise the add-on is useless.
- Rated 2 out of 5by kosal, 6 years agoWorks fine, but with every update the blacklist is cleared. Fix it please.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Nils Trieu, 6 years agoIt just works perfectly! No gimmicks and sh*t of load. Highly recommend!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14242164, 6 years agoI'm using it since a few weeks, and it seems to work without problems. Removing domains from the blacklist is a little bit cumbersome, but that's no reason to give only 4 stars, I think.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Fergy, 6 years agoThis is exactly what I wanted. Some sites pollute your history because they make so many entries. Just block them and they don't show up in your history.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13567127, 7 years agoAs you stated. The bug is causing some issues on the menu options page.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13531342, 7 years agoOptions menu doesn't work. Add on is practically useless at its current state. FF 57

posted 7 years agoI am sorry about that; it is a known bug in FF56/57 that has been addressed in 58: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1385548
I am currently working on a fix for it, but I have no timeline at present: https://github.com/kainsavage/HistoryBlock/issues/8 - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13528891, 7 years agoThis works in Firefox Quantum! :)
Just go to the webpage you want to have forgotten and open the context menu anywhere on the webpage.
Then hit the button "History Block" and block this site --> Done - Rated 3 out of 5by Guizmo, 7 years agoHey, I'm thankfull for your efforts but it doesn't seem to work on Firefox Quantum 57.0 (64 bits)
Nothing happens while pressing the button "Clear Blacklist", "Remove Domain", "Add Domain" and "Import".
Tried to clean history and reboot. No luck. - Rated 5 out of 5by Samlh, 7 years agoIt worked! I'm using this to ignore google.com/search, as seeing my search history as google result page urls is annoying.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Mateng, 7 years agoGreat add-on to exclude some sites from history.
Seemed having stopped working, but Kains (the developers) hint was helpful to re-activate my legacy blacklist https://github.com/kainsavage/HistoryBlock/tree/v2.1.0#migrating-legacy-blacklistDeveloper response
posted 7 years agoThanks for the positive review, and I'm glad to hear you were able to migrate successfully! Developer response
posted 7 years agoSorry about HB not working after the update. Likely, you are going from 1.x to 2.0.0, right? The way that addons store data has changed significantly since the legacy version, and as such upgrading does cause the blacklist to get forgotten. It CAN be recovered if you follow the instructions from https://github.com/kainsavage/HistoryBlock/tree/v2.1.0#migrating-legacy-blacklist
Please let me know if I am misunderstanding and file a bug report with as much detail as possible on Github.
Thanks!- Rated 4 out of 5by tramax73, 7 years agoFind the extension very useful but preferences panel no longer popups since the extension was upgraded to reflect "Firefox add-on technology modernisation"
