- Rated 5 out of 5by Joseph Berger, 17 days agoThis is one of my favorite extensions by far out of the 200+ I have installed and use. I have it on Firefox, Chrome and Edge. And actually use it to keep my passwords up to date and synced across all 3 of those browsers. One thing I just noticed (which gives a little concern) is the disclaimer that the extension only works on Sonoma? "Compatible with macOS® Sonoma only." I am on Monterey 12.7.2 on one of the old iMac (Retina 5K Late 2015 intel core - it's one hell of a computer and still running strong so no desire to change) and of course always concerned at some point apps I rely on will stop working. For whatever reason I am already getting blocked from being able to install some apps / programs which require macOS 13 and above and my limited understanding is the iMac 2015 will never get above Monterey. Maybe that is not the case fingers crossed. Anyways - love the app and hope it keeps working!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18312779, 4 months agoReally pleased with the extension, allows autofill on macOS Sonoma, however support for one-time codes is sorely needed and would be appreciated!
- Rated 1 out of 5by CJ, 4 months agoI would love to be able to use my iCloud passwords in Firefox on my Mac, but I get an error every time I input the 6 digit code.

posted 4 months agoSorry for the inconvenience, could you open an issue on the following URL, indicating which model of Mac you're using as well as the OS version and Firefox version?

I'd be glad to help there. Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13897341, 4 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13670520, 7 months agobeen waiting for this plugin for ages, great work. One tricky thing is that iCloud password doesn't distinguish same URLs with different ports (e.g. http://xyz:8080 and http://xyz:8081 can't exist at the same time). Will that be a problem for this addon as well?

posted 6 months agoThanks! Right now, it's the same as iCloud Passwords on Safari/Chrome. It's definitely possible to make this behavior customizable, even though it's not a priority. I'll keep that in mind, but feel free to open an issue on https://github.com/aurelien-garnier/icloud-passwords-firefox if you wish to receive updates. - Rated 5 out of 5by Roman F, 7 months agoI've been waiting for a plugin like this that just works. The only thing missing is the auto-fill of one-time codes. Please add the feature. It's very simple and very core feature: https://github.com/aurelien-garnier/icloud-passwords-firefox/issues/8

posted 7 months agoThanks for the support! One-Time-Code support is indeed a planned feature. There are currently a few higher priority ones though, and it's not as easy as it may seem, so I can't guarantee a timeline for it. But rest assured that I'm actively working on improving this extension and will do my best to ship this feature as soon as possible. - Rated 5 out of 5by kjd, 7 months agoGiving this 5 stars since it's so sorely needed and does indeed work. Only used it lightly, but the main thing missing is automatically prompting to autofill passwords when clicking on a username or password field.

posted 7 months agoThanks for the support! That's one of the highest priority features I'm working on currently. It should be available in a following update, but I can't guarantee a timeline for it. - Rated 1 out of 5by Honja, 7 months agoAlways says "Error
iCloud Passwords is designed to run on Windows 10 or later. Please upgrade to be able to use this extension.
Retry" wether I'm on Windows 10 or 11... idk if it's because i'm using Waterfox and not Firefox...Developer response
posted 7 months agoHi, Windows support is planned but still experimental. Only macOS is officially supported for now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If you still want to try it, please try to follow these instructions: https://github.com/aurelien-garnier/icloud-passwords-firefox/issues/25#issuecomment-1841591736 - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13517883, 7 months agoI'm glad someone is working on this important feature that is missing in Firefox. I will give 5 stars when it'll be possible to automatically add a password when signing in to a new site.

posted 7 months agoHi, sorry for your bad experience. Please make sure you are running macOS® Sonoma, as this extension is only compatible with this version. Fore more details on how to use the extension, see https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-250007756- Rated 5 out of 5by Jack Hannon, 8 months agoExcited to see this ported to firefox, obviously it's still missing a few things, but def encouraging to see it working.

This extension is obviously very new, so I already have a list of quite a few improvements to work on, but I'd be happy to consider other use cases!
