- Rated 5 out of 5by Dta, a year agoHi, as of June 28th 2023, the direct messages in Instagram cannot be opened with this extension using Firefox version 114.0.2. Thank you.
- Rated 2 out of 5by mb9023, a year agoRecent instagram changes have made it so clicking on an instagram link from external sites (twitter, etc) will NOT load with this extension enabled. I have to disable the extension to click a link and then re-enable it and refresh the page to download.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Saad, a year agoIt doesn't work in normal mode and I have to refresh the page for it to work and download photos and videos.
- Rated 4 out of 5by n_core, a year agoI already use the latest version, and it has some problem with downloading images from the Posts or Tagged section.
If you press the download button from Posts and it doesn't download anything, this plugin will eat your RAM until the browser stops responding because it ran out of memory.
My normal Firefox RAM usage is usually 1-2 GB, but when this problem happened it skyrocketed to 5-7 GB (and probably even more if I have more RAM.)
I think there's something wrong with this plugin, and can you please fix it?
Also, you can't download stuff from a post link. You have to be in the profile account to be able to download it. - Rated 4 out of 5by fredjp, a year ago$POSTSHORTCODE
for posts before 2023-03-01, it save as the ig post id, and has the same value for all images of the same post.
for posts after 2023-03-01, it becomes something else, and images of the same post has different values. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13475750, a year agoMake sure to update your options, but this update works smooth and as designed.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Dimitri001, a year agoVery unreliable. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Has been this way since the previous iteration of this add on stopped working. Used to be a five star add on, hopefully the dev can fix it.

- Rated 3 out of 5by ohdembein, a year agoAfter updating to version 1.2.2 it no longer works for regular photo posts or in the main timeline. The only time the download arrow appears for me now is on Stories and Reels. Was working fine prior to the update. I disabled all other add-ons to make sure there was no conflict as well. Hope it gets fixed as this was the only app of it's kind still working.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Amps, a year agoImage downloads are not working currently; there is no button for sets or individual images, in a set or standalone.
Edit: Also, is there a particular reason you've re-uploaded your plugin under a new name and removed the old one? It make finding the update significantly more difficult. - Rated 5 out of 5by Carl W, a year agoUpdated to version 1.2.2 and all problems were solved! thank you hawkynawa

- Rated 5 out of 5by Zibbo, a year agoAt the moment it's not possible to download pics or videos, both individually or all together, if the instagram post has multiple stuff. It works perfectly when there's only a pic, or only a video or for stories
- Rated 5 out of 5by xSmoky, a year agoThis extension is perfect and extremely useful.
Unfortunetely mozilla didn't pick up on auto updates, came back to this page to see the author already dropped one to fix the problem i was having (posts were displaying incorrectly). Amazing thank you!
EDIT: seems there are problems when modifying the File Name Format option. For example having only {$ACCOUNTNAME} {$POSTYEAR}-{$POSTMONTH}-{$POSTDAY} results in the file being saved without extension (.jpg). Seems like {$FILENAME} has to be last in order to get the .extension saved correctly.Developer response
posted a year agoHello and thank you very much for your comment.
About the file name format, and to add the file extension, use instead :
"{$ACCOUNTNAME} {$POSTYEAR}-{$POSTMONTH}-{$POSTDAY}.{$FILEEXTENSION}"
{$FILENAME} include "name.ext"
{$FILEEXTENSION} include "ext" (without dot)
