IT Glue Add-on for Firefox by IT Glue

by ForensicAppliance, 3 years agoThis is a great extension that has made working as an IT Admin much easier. I only have one complaint: Previously, when opening many pages, the username and password fields would automatically be fillable, allowing me to begin typing without having to click the field. For whatever reason, the IT Glue extension removes this functionality, and will even go so far as to prevent typing a few seconds after I have clicked the field and begun typing. It's a minor annoyance, but would be a huge help if this issue was resolved.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Bryan, a year agoSince I'm using this addon I'm actively removing saved logins from Firefox. There are two issues I'm facing:
1: The IT Glue add on takes all space of the username / password field(s) on some pages. An example is PRTG, when filling in credentials under a device.
2: Not all items can be found trough the addon. Less is more in most cases, so when I'm searching for 'customer firewall' it seems to come up with all results with 'firewall' in the name. - Rated 2 out of 5by dyers, a year agoYou may as well bring up the ITG website in another window, if you search for a password and copy it to put into a field, when you return to get the TOTP, you have to search all over again. Doesn't autofill TOTP, doesn't have an option to not display the icon in login fields (conflicts with better password managers). If company policy didn't require using this for certain passwords, I'd have more these elsewhere long ago.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17546768, 2 years agoExtremely Thankful for the port to Firefox. I found if using Firefox containers, having ITGlue webpage open in a container prevents the add-on from signing in.
If you have issues with this, revert the IT Glue webpage to the default Firefox container. - Rated 2 out of 5by Techvo Dev, 2 years agoevery lowercase Q I type brings up the global search bar and I lose focus. After killing the search bar and regaining focus of the window where I was typing (usually in about 2 seconds), I have over 30 frigging Qs. It's rage-inducing and renders this extension useless.
