Japanese IME switcher for Duo by aleidenfrost
This is a convenience tool for Japanese learners on Duolingo. On translation tasks, it switches the IME on or off depending on the target language.

About this extension
To use this add-on successfully, you need to have Japanese language support and IME installed and active.
On English to Japanese translations, the IME will be on and show your typing in kana, with the usual options for choosing kanji, etc.
On Japanese to English translations, the IME will be disabled, so that you can type in latin characters without manually switching the input method.
