by David Maisonave, 4 years agoOutstanding Add-on. It's in my top 5 favorite Add-on list. Autofill has the best help menu I've seen on an Add-on.
I have a form I use on a daily basis, and the option to change the maximum number of results is at the bottom of the page. It was very annoying to always have to scroll to the bottom of the page and change the default setting of 10. With Autofill, I was able to make it so that the combo field automatically changed the field from 10 to "Show All". And I'm amaze that it does it so quick that I don't even see the page displaying only 10 results, and instead it appears to instantly display the full results.
(IMHO) In order to give the user great flexibility and advanced features, the Add-on needs some level of complexity which may make it more suited for slightly advanced users or developers.
However, the great help menu, also has example usage, which makes it easily usable by the average user as long as the help menu is used and the user is willing to put in the effort.
I believe most users who rate this add-on low, and state that it didn't work, are not using the help menu.
I highly recommend it for any mid-level or advance user.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Jahn08, 12 days agoI filled in all the options, then tried it several times and now it constantly shows me a banner that I've reached my daily free limit of executions, even though it's been a week since I saw this warning. So, now this extentsion is completely useless for me. I'm just wondering what definition of a day they use - seems like the Mercurian day or for heaven's sake the Venetian one :D

- Rated 1 out of 5by lmb, a month agoThis app has stopped working now. I'm not talking about the fact it's gone to a freemium model, I mean the autofill for a lot of fields has just stopped working
- Rated 1 out of 5by Dee, a month agoOnly works unless you actually filled out the form on that specific site before. What's the point? Why do you think I want to fill out a form twice? Why can't you make it so that it recognizes a simple First Name Last Name across various websites? How hard can that be? Cannot even program basic functionality to work correctly, jeez ...
- Rated 1 out of 5by Sexy ESXi, a month agoYou have placed yourself in the "freemium" echo chamber. Good luck with that. The very fact that you have to defend your actions under "About this extension" show that you knew you were taking a chance. Guess what? You made a bad choice. Do like other developers do. Offer a free trial with an option to buy. I have paid for many applications throughout the years such as SecureFX, UltraEdit, etc. I don't MIND paying fifty or sixty dollars once I reach the upgrade limit. Like most recurring charge pimps, you hope that people will sign up and forget or stop using and that minuscule charge will stay under the RADAR and keep enriching you. What you DON'T DO is blindside users with a sudden "B*tch! Where my money?!".
Don't cry too hard when your extension goes titz up.
Uninstalling after posting. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16363682, a month ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Andrea G, a month agoThe recent low ratings DO reflect the extension's functionality or user experience.
It would be completely ok to pay for the extension but not a monthly subscription of almost 5 dollars, you crazy? Right now it's useless.
Since I only need basic functionality I created my own extension in under one hour with the help of Claude. I might even release it in the future once it's improved. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15929153, 2 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18183441, 3 months agoYou can find the free version in the web or in the reviews bellow, or, if you are somewhat good at coding, you can just reverse engineer it, since extensions are basically just JavaScripts

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17034508, 4 months agoSeitdem das mit Bezahlung geworden ist, nur schrott. Man hat am Anfang nur 10 mal möglichkeiten was zu tun, was am nächsten Tag wieder möglich soll, was bei mir nicht der Fall ist, danach muss man zahlen. Und auch noch richtig teuer.
