- Rated 3 out of 5by skpManiac, 4 years agoI would love to give this 5 stars but the fact it always tries to make me write in American infuriates the hell out of me!
Let me quote YOUR description:
Linguix.com is the best way to find and eliminate spelling issues in your English texts anywhere on the web.
It is set to UK British English so I do not expect to be told that words like ORGANISED are spelt wrong because I used an S instead of a Z. This makes the entire plug-in useless!
The devs need to realise that English is English, NOT American English, just because Americans bastardised our language does not mean that we will adapt to their way of spelling words incorrectly.
If this cannot be fixed I will revert back to Grammarly which is a lot slower but much more accurate. - Rated 5 out of 5by Armando Karin, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Louis R. Tursi, 4 years agoThis is by far the best grammar checker I have ever used. Seriously, forget about Grammarly, that's nothing compared to this. Also, in comparison, this one actually gets it right and does not attempt to fix mistakes that were never there, nor does it miss any mistakes that I have made.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Gourmet, 4 years agoProductive grammar and spelling checker for the web. I'm a native English speaker, and Linguix still helps me improve my English. In addition to the spelling and grammar checking, I like Linguix's snippet feature to help me speed up my workflow by saving things I frequently type. I also like the user dictionary -- unlike the user dictionary in Android OS, it's easy to remove words that shouldn't be there. Now I'm waiting for future releases of Linguix. Hopefully they will support multiple languages!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Matt GD, 5 years agoI have some issues with the dictionary, it highlights the selected word quickly then nothing happens, no dictionary pops up
Response to developer: I turned the "Look up dictionary" option on but whenever I hold Alt+ select a word or double click a word, the word gets yellow highlighted for a quick second then gets un-highlighted and no dictionary or definition of the word pops up. It happens on every websites that I visit such as Reddit, gsmarena, amazon etc.Developer response
posted 5 years agoHi Matt, sorry to hear about that. We'd like to investigate the issue to fix it. Could you please submit a description of what exactly you are doing, on which websites, and how the app behaves at support@linguix.com? That would be super helpful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13590901, 5 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Ivan Sergeev, 6 years agoYou can use the extension even without registration and sharing your email, the only grammar checker I know with such a function.
- Rated 5 out of 5by VJ Angelo, 6 years agoVery helpful, would be better if worked everywhere, but almost all my favorite sites are covered (email, blogging and social networking sites).
- Rated 5 out of 5by Margo, 6 years agoI've started using this in December 2018, was one of the first users, and I see big progress since then. First of all, they now have browser extensions which is super handy. I use the web app as well, and its statistical module gives good feedback on readability.
