    Unfortunately, I get the impression that after the latest update of the add-on (theme), the shade of the mint color has changed to a color more closely resembling plain green.
    Before the update, the mint color was close to #8FA87C and now it is #35A854.

    That's right. This is accommodating the "Vibrant Colors" change which came with Linux Mint 21.1 Vera. You can read about it here: https://www.linuxmint.com/rel_vera_cinnamon_whatsnew.php

    If you don't like that change you can download Version 1.4.0 from the version history: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/linux-mint-mint-y-dark/versions/

    Maybe I'm crazy here but why create a mint y dark theme without the one thing that the mint y dark gtk interpretation of firefox doesn't have, a dark default home page :(

    Edit: Thank you for the reply Dev! the update fixes the aforementioned issue and now works perfectly! Regarding the search bar, I honestly hadn't noticed since I have it disabled.

    I don't know how I could miss this. Probably because I had my search engine set as new tab page. I just published an update!

    I tried to also adjust the transparent background color behind the search bar on the new tab page, but it seems to not be possible with a simple theme. It would require a full addon which I currently don't have the time to do.
