- Rated 5 out of 5by Georgi, a month agoWorks brilliantly, the people saying it doesn't probably didn't read the instructions. You must have an audio source already active on the page for it to detect (ie, start the YT video and then start the extension).
Also, the default windows media player sometimes fails at reading the files, but it does that with all sorts of sources, so use a better player. - Rated 5 out of 5by Ayub Khan, 7 months ago

This add-on is no longer supported. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18174145, a year agoZero stars. Installed this for Firefox 120.0 (64-bit) based on a positive review article. Wasted an hour of my time. It appears this add-on is no longer maintained.

- Rated 2 out of 5by slapadelic, 2 years agoI only really need something like this to get short samples for music or memes or what not so it works acceptably, I guess. It claims to be able to record audio and video, which I took to mean there are options, but there are not. it's only corrupted webm files with no options to edit or even pause the recording.
I take the video files and then rip the audio from them using virtual DJ, but that really shouldn't be a necessary step - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12812696, 2 years agoThis is one of the only addons that AUTOMATICALLY captures video streams at the "source level", eliminating the need to fuss with capture areas, window sizing or frames to record just the video. It's not a screen recorder, per se, so the user can surf the net while video capture continues in the background. The problem is, I've noticed significant 3d noise ("grainy" picture) when playing back recorded videos. It's not a hardware shortcoming. Also, there's no toolbar button to toggle recording. The user does need to be on the video page to start or stop recording. However, once the "stop" button is clicked, the video is downloaded without any further user interaction, which is super, super handy.
