But every time I use it it opens a really annoying, dangerous looking spammy ad site and makes a really annoying beeping sound that tells me there are viruses on my computer and has a button to clear them. That's really a no-no. If you want to get malware on your system that's a good way to do it. The website that converts the videos to mp3s is also really slow to download from. So I'm removing it from my computer and looking elsewhere. I'd be willing to pay for an add-on that just does the job without all the annoying and possibly dangerous ad sites that pop up. It's a shame that the developers took the underhanded sleazy approach to monetizing their work. They have a donation button, and I would certainly donate if not for that. The slow download speed is a minus too, but nothing compared to the awful ad pop-unders.

- Rated 1 out of 5by babyblue_22, a year agoWould give ZERO stars if I could. Literally does absolutely nothing. The "download MP3 of this video" button is nonexistent, and not because it's broken; it just never existed to begin with. Because with hindsight now that I'm giving it a closer look, it's extremely obvious that the screenshot where they supposedly show this imaginary button is a lazy edit. They just took a screenshot of a random video on YouTube and plastered what's supposed to look like a button underneath the video to trick you into thinking it was actually, you know, an extension for download MP3s off YouTube. Don't waste your time.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Diagon Alleycat, 2 years agoThe extension here from Firefox was last updated in 2018. Youtube has greatly changed since 2018 and so it isn't surprising such an old tool fails to be compatible with youtube as it now.
