- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16781859, a year agoThree and not one star ONLY because I don't want to kill this extension rating (given all the effort put into this project, as seen on the github).
However, this extension doesn't work currently (firefox v118.0.2) and apparently hasn't for a long time already.
It's a shame, we were this close to having such an important tool. Hope the project will be forked and fixed one day ! - Rated 5 out of 5by HumanistAtypik, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16331026, 4 years agoI tried the 'about:config' and is was just the same as clicking on zoom and changing from 100% to 110% or from 100% to 90%. That's not what the pinch gestures do in other browsers.
This Multi-touch Zoom plug in actually duplicated or replicated what I wanted. I just wanted the view or the browser interface to zoom without the content changing. THIS IS A PERFECT SOLUTION.
Please write a review and give your rating. Thanks 'haxiomic'. - Josh - Rated 5 out of 5by neko, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13109298, 4 years agoHaxiomic advice works perfectly for Pinch and Zoom. Thanks for being a stand-up guy: Update:
Native smooth zoom is starting to appear in newer Firefox builds. Try enabling it by going to about:config in the url and setting apz.allow_zooming to true. If that works for you then you don't need to use this plugin :)Developer response
posted 4 years ago:] happy to have helped. FireFox feels a lot better with this turned on! - Rated 3 out of 5by PrivacyOriented, 4 years agoGreat concept, something that needs to be implemented into the browser. However, it breaks YouTube playback in full screen after touching a touchscreen at all while on the webpage. Playback becomes a completely white screen. I disabled other extensions to ensure this extension is the cause.
Workaround: Go to about:config, search for "mousewheel.with_control.action" and set the value to 5 (this is for touchpad pinching and zooming, although it's a little slow). Set "apz.allow_zooming" to true for touchscreen pinch-to-zoom support. Revert any of the "browser.gesture.pinch" settings you may have changed for this extension. - Rated 5 out of 5by cg, 4 years ago
