- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13276543, a year agoEdit: it finally says there is a subscription model. Will not be subscribing as I can't afford it. Shame to ruin such a great extension.
It's a fantastic extension, but for some reason the subtitles have started to say 'Your trial has expired' every 5 minutes until I turn the extension off and on again. Is there some kind of subscription model now? If so that's really disappointing especially to release it unannounced... - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18104686, a year ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by asdtyuiol;', a year agosimple, easy to use. just set the programme language as the primary subs and your language as the secondary and it works no problem
- Rated 5 out of 5by Lumidaub, a year agoOh wow, this works better than I expected. No issues whatsoever so far, it's plug and play. It even plays nice with my other addons that alter the netflix UI.
I may have a suggestion: would it be possible to include an option to add furigana? Maybe even make them easily toggleable by keyboard shortcut? Right now I'm using 10ten Reader on top of this addon to get readings where the audio isn't clear enough, which does work but it's a bit clunky. I do realise that the add-on would have to pull the readings from somewhere which probably wouldn't always work perfectly (and might be too resource-heavy?) but I think this could help even more with listening comprehension. - Rated 3 out of 5by Mori, 2 years agoI've been restarting Netflix and my browser for about 30 minutes now as of writing this review and it isn't letting me use the secondary subtitles. I'm on the newest version of Windows 10 and the current newest version of Firefox
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17683523, 2 years agoExactly does the job what it is required to do. Also it customizes subtitle!
EDIT: This review was produced in a system with Arch Linux using firefox. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dougiestyle, 2 years agoJust what I've been waiting for. Works great. Thanks a million for this.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Mer-I, 2 years agoJust what I need, works perfectly with no hicaps as if it's part of the site and not a third party extension.
And extra functionality is wonderful and well though. Love the make subtitles selectable one) Deservies 6 stars out of five!
The only thing I wish is the possblity to change font color of the Secondary subtitle sepratly of the Primary one just like with size. - Rated 4 out of 5by John Doe, 2 years agoI am trying to use this add-on to take advantage of very useful shortcut of rewinding and forwarding by subtitle (A and D). However, it ignores the font that I have selected in my Netflix profile options. So it would be great if update the add-on so that it respects the profile font setting, or even better, add "Font" options to Netflix Bilingual Subtitles.
Also, I don't like that I can't select styles such as "Bold," "Regular," "Italic," etc with Netflix. It would be great if you could add "Style" settings, so that I can use "Block" with "Regular" style instead of "Bold," or use unavailable font such as "Arial". Thank you for considering my suggestions. - Rated 5 out of 5by TyDraniu, 2 years agoHi, since today it doesn't work at all. Tested also in a new profile.
[EDIT]
Version 3.9 is OK, the wifey no longer shouts at me, thanks for fixing!
