by Firefox user 14092484, 6 years agoExcellent for the creation and preliminary edition of notes. It offers a wide space to write. The "beautify" function is unique in order to fix breaks in sentences when one copies the text of a document to keep in mind important references when writing a manuscript. Ideal for creating or editing notes that I later manage in Evernote.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Fred, 5 years agoGreat extension, really simple and usefull. :-)
I would just like to have a few improvements :
- Font size is not working (FF67Win) : everytime I change it, it comes back to 24 when displaying my note again
- Is there anyway to choose the font as Courrier is not the sexiest one ;-) (I guess it was chosen to be able to align indented text).
Thank you,

posted 4 years agoHi Fred,
I know it's been very long overdue but I have come back to developing this add-on adding the option for a few different fonts, fixed the font size issue and added some other features like Firefox sync, exporting notes, etc. So if you're willing to give this add-on another try please do so.
Best regards,
Julian - Rated 3 out of 5by joelford, 6 years agoIt's okay. Very simple. However, I'd like to see some way to control the fonts sizes permanently in both the note text and the title text. I had assumed (my fault) that it would sync with Firefox on all my systems. It does not appear to do so. That's a non-starter for me.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13686059, 6 years agoI've found this to be an exceptionally useful extension for keeping an online diary/to do list.
At one point, I lost the first five days of the new month, owing to the (too easy) DELETE function. Julian responded to my email the same day with a detailed description of how to restore the missing entries. Even better, he wrote that he will incorporate a confirmation step that will prevent immediate deletion.
NotesTab will meet the needs of many of us who appreciate its simplicity, accessibility, and usefulness. Developer response
posted 7 years agoIf you could explain a little bit more in to what you see on the new tab maybe I could provide you with instructions in how to fix your problem.
Right now you should be able to see the following message on the new tab if you don't have any note already created: "No Notes Found, Create One To Start"
Note that for this add-on to work you should answer 'Yes' when asked for permissions by Firefox
