- Rated 1 out of 5by MartyGreg, a year agoI wish the developer also included the next screenshot, which basically opens the website of the "oxford languages" then you have type the word you are looking for after you figure out which dictionary you actually need.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13577122, 7 years agoAs previous reviewer stated. This links to the Oxford Living Dictionary; a drastically simpler reference with a completely different editorial policy. Change the name or allow users to choose which dictionary to search.
- Rated 3 out of 5by pol098, 7 years ago(3 stars as I had to choose something; it's fine for many purposes). Name is a bit misleading; I want to access the "Oxford English Dictionary", with login details; the extension, though called "Oxford English Dictionary" actually goes to "Oxford Living Dictionaries", which isn't what I need. It works fine as described for the OLivD.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Furshur, 7 years agoI like the thoroughness of this add on. I use the hardbound Oxford English Dictionary all the time, but this is a quick solution for looking up words.
- Rated 4 out of 5by G, 7 years agoBeen looking for an add-on to give me a pop-up with definitions from Oxford Dictionaries, this is the closest I've found so far. It's not a pop-up, but it's easy enough. If you want the definition in a new tab on the official website rather than a pop-up, this is for you.
Edit: I just tried the add-on "Pop-Up Dictionary" which seemed promising, but it doesn't work well with oxforddictionaries.com, so I'll be sticking with this.
Edit #2: A problem with this add-on is that it doesn't return to the previous tab you were on after closing the Oxford Dictionaries tab, it goes to the last tab in the window. Dev, hopefully you can fix this. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12700980, 8 years agoSince 'oxforddictionaries.com' modified its site, I have had to jump through a few hoops to get at the definitions. Annoying.
I don't know how to adjust Firefox's search engine settings for that.
Thanks for this add-on.
