by one, 6 years agoThis is an excellent addon. Instantly does what it says. Displays all images in your current page, to allow you to choose which ones to pin to pinterest. With controls in all the correct places. I never leave reviews but felt I had to for this one as this work deserved it. Kudos to the developer, nice work. Nailed it!

- Rated 5 out of 5by dogsrock, a year agoWas looking for a way to add things to pinterest when there was no pin option on page but was looking for an add-on w/minimal access to my data. I'm using Windows 10 and after adding this extension, no pin option appeared on my address bar as stated in another review. There is no 'pin' button. Instead, access to the add-on is under the Extensions button (it looks like a puzzle piece). On the page you want to save something from, click the extension button, then the Pinterest Light extension from the drop down menu. Go to the new window that opens, scroll down to see the 'save from URL' button. Copy/paste the url, choose what pic you want, choose board, done. Works great, appreciate this simple/light extension. Suggestion: in the description, provide info on where/how to access the extension. I read all the reviews and still had to hunt around to find where/how to access.

posted 2 months ago1) To put the extension from "puzzle button menu" to the main Toolbar, right-click the extension there and choose "Pin to Toolbar".
2) copy-pasting URL manually is not needed - however periodically the page markup on Pinterest webpage changes, so automatic copy-pasting breaks 😿 - Rated 3 out of 5by PartimWhole, a year agoI thought this would work as a replacement for the Pinterest Save Button. However, this opens up a new window on pinterest.com to manually make/upload a pin.
I'm leaving 3 stars because it's not what I wanted but that doesn't mean it's bad at what it does. I just want an equivalent to the save button.Developer response
posted a year agoit's technically not possible to have equivalent functionality without injecting third-party code into every web page (which official pinterest extension does, and not doing which - is described as the main point of this extension). - Rated 5 out of 5by Notlaw, 5 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15304130, 5 years agoSimple, easy-to-use, and lightweight as promised. Does exactly what I was hoping it would do and has sped up my image research process considerably. Highly recommend!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13715032, 6 years agoI'd love continue using this, it's lean and GREAT that we can just tick which images to pin. - However unfortunately this doesn't work with forefox's own "multi account container" addon, so I have to replace this. Tip: Maybe you can make it that it considers the container the current page is in, and opens the new page in the same container? / Explanation: Say you are logged into Pinterest in your "Pinterest" container, but this addon opens its page that I will call "which-images-would-you-like-to-pin" in the default container - where I am not logged into Pinterest of course, and so I cannot pin anything. Understood my description of the problem?
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14534327, 6 years agoWorks great! I'm going to explain in case someone else wonders how it works... Once installed the Pinterest button is right next to the bookmark star in the address bar. Clicking it quickly opens my Pinterest page, then when hovering over a pic a P-save icon appears on the image, click that and select your board, works like a charm. Thank you developer!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Shajirr, 7 years agoIt took me a while to find how to activate it.
The addon button didn't appear, I tried disabling/enabling and reinstalling, nothing.
Turns out there is no addon button which goes on the toolbar, instead it appears in the address bar.
Can we get some option to change this? Address bar is a really bad place for this, since you need it just on very specific sites, not all of them.Developer response
