- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14333858, 2 months agoDoes not work. one of ttwo things occur:
1) I get multiple ads across all streams.
2) The app disconnects the stream when ads are played.
In the case of #2 a button pops up on screen stating "reload the player". I click the button and the he stream will continue to drop and the reload button appear. Rinse & repeat ad infinitum.
I must disable the app to stop the reoccurring error. - Rated 4 out of 5by ElectrifyThunder, 3 months agoIt doesn't work for preroll ads, but it works for automated ads. It just freezes the screen, which I'm cool with that than watching 7+ Ads!
I would recommend. - Rated 5 out of 5by Chris, 3 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12562134, a year agoDoesn't work as intended. It blocks the ad, but not the stream blocking placeholder.

Only permission it needs is access to Twitch.tv, like the userscripts, and other proxies, you can ONLY USE ONE AT A TIME.
If you combine userscripts, extensions + userscripts, or multiple extensions doing the same thing, NONE OF THEM WILL WORK.
USE ONE METHOD AT A TIME OR THEY OVERWRITE EACH OTHERS CODE and you will have some weird things going on.
Anyways, this one has worked for the past few weeks, especially after I removed the uBlock userscripts that seem to die every few days and load streams in 480p.
For me the Ad will pop up, and then cut out literally a second later and be back to the quality settings I had. - Rated 1 out of 5by Crusader, a year agoSimply does not work, and never has for me, in 2023. Haven't used it before that. For an extension boasting the ability to block twitch ads, this is totally useless. It seems i have more luck with the adblock plus + ublock combo. Too bad
