- Rated 1 out of 5by GµårÐïåñ, 8 years agoConsider the 2 stars the pity for the fact that you started with a great concept and then ruined it with greed, lack of innovation and so much bugs that never get addressed. There is non-existent support and utter silence from the developers which means this is nothing more than a money grab or to make something to sell and they care nothing for its quality, reputation or functionality.
The FX addon as been broken for so long without any action that it has become a useless garbage that won't save any settings, keeps prompting for the E2E password and won't retain anything. It is a constant annoyance which far outweighs any worth. Another promising vision ruined by incompetent developers lacking any integrity or dignity.
You are replaceable by open source, clean, functional, efficient and TRULY FREE solutions that don't have so much gimmick (features that were free but now paid because they ran out of things to innovate) and play with their users (offering quota for referral and then giving you nothing). You showed your true colors very early on, which in a way I thank you - better to know now that you are unreliable and untrustworthy than later.
I won't mention the other immensely superior solutions because my review and the complaint about the software is legit and I don't want anything to distract from it. You can simply search for alternatives to this failure and find them in spades. I will however say, avoid AirDroid, they are woefully compromised, even in that condition they are superior to Push.
/EDIT: As of 56 this addon completely breaks, won't load anything at all and cannot even be reinstalled as Mozilla considers the package corrupt. So pathetic that after all this time knowing there is a problem with it and didn't fix it, now they just let it die altogether; if they have no respect for their own product why should anyone else frankly. They have effectively abandoned it and that shows their lack of integrity and makes them utterly untrustworthy. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12129562, 8 years agono longer loads in private browsing
I can't save my encryption password, clicking the save button does nothing, v310 is the latest version it works on. - Rated 1 out of 5by ART, 8 years agoGood addon!
Not work on firefox 50.1.0: "Error signing in to your account: Could not connect to server" - Rated 1 out of 5by Hunter2000, 8 years agoPushbullet add-on version 335 does not install. Firefox 50.1.0 reports about corrupted installation file when loading it from FIrefox add-ons site. New is not always better than the old.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Edgar, 8 years agoI use this add-on a few times a day. But when I'm browsing in private mode (very often) Pushbullet does not load.
The previous version works fine. This behavior is intended or is a bug? - Rated 1 out of 5by scott, 8 years agoOld Pushbullet was (is) great. The new Web Extension version (335) is broken on my setup: Firefox 50.0 on Ubuntu 14.04.5. Must run older version until current versions work on my platform. Bummer.
- Rated 1 out of 5by luki4, 8 years agoПерестали приходить пуши если браузер не запущен. Раньше можно было отправить ссылку, уже после запустить браузер и ссылка приходила при запуске браузера, сегодня же ссылка приходит только в открытый браузер.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Fajfka, 8 years agoIn version 335 notifications don't work properly. Once the notification window disappears, it disappears also the overlay number of unread notifications from Pushbullet icons.
If "Show notifications on my computer" in the settings is unchecked, overlay number of unread notifications on the icon remains, but I don't see a preview of notification at the bottom right :-)
I tried the 335 version on Firefox 50, 49 and 48 (although warning about incompatibility) and badly it behaves in all versions. I tested clean install of FF, Pushbulet was only one added addon.
Previous versions Pushbullet addon works OK, but it's not WebExtensions version, so over time the new versions of Firefox apparently stops working :-(
In the addon for Chrome and the Pushbullet desktop app too it works fine, but I prefer Firefox addon.
Please repair addon, if possible.
Many thanks, Petr F. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12654036, 8 years agoWith older versions (pre 335) there was a trick to make this addon work with cookies disabled, manually adding a cookie exception: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pushbullet/reviews/634332/
With this new WebExtension version, this workaround does not work anymore. Is there any other/new cookie to add to the exceptions list?
Thank you. - Rated 3 out of 5by ch1902, 8 years agoThe latest update breaks Firefox's shortcut Ctrl + Shift + K to open the web console on the current page. Please choose a different key or add a setting to make it customizable.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Michael Kraft, 8 years agoThe new version just released breaks bookmarks functionality in Firefox. In addition it doesn't show up when the browser is first started until it is disabled and then enabled.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Carlos Eduardo Santos, 8 years agoIt's an easy way to send anything from mobile to desktop. Just hit share and choose Pushbullet.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Mark, 8 years agoNotifications are endless: every time you start firefox, addon "thanks you for installing" it. If you are not logged in to pushbullet, it has a notification flag, which is just telling you to log in -- this is an abuse of the concept of notifications.
There is no mode to allow pushbullet to sign off when you close the browser, so you MUST log off manually if you are on a shared computer, etc.
Sometimes pushes don't seem to get delivered.
