by Firefox user 16783580, a year agogood concept. In the 'new' UI It seems to detect the popup and hide the element, but this freezes the background, disabling opening of posts and blurring images (when not logged in).
If navigating directly to a thread the image will still be blacked out with a mature content watermark that just tells you to "view in app". Clicking this does nothing. Comments, however, can be read.
In its current state it is really only good for wanting to read comments on age restricted posts in the new UI. This can be useful for certain links found external to reddit when not logged in, or following a link in a separate thread. It doesn't do much when attempting to browse age restricted subreddits unfortunately.
