by Firefox user 14967622, 2 years agoWorks like a charm. God I hate youtube shorts.
Edit: Well maybe not. It works, but you have to click refresh for it to do so. Better than nothing for sure, but not as seamless as it could be.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Nathaniel M. Foley-Beaver, a year agoAs stated by others, this requires a refresh to make the redirect work. This is because it tries to set window.location before the page is ready instead of using addListener() or similar mechanisms.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Lenny, 2 years agoDoes not work. Just edit the link by replacing /shorts/[ID] with /watch?v=[ID].
- Rated 3 out of 5by Goupille, 2 years agoIt worked great, but it seems it stopped to work in June 2023 (infinite loop, like if youtube redirects to short)
- Rated 2 out of 5by Marooned, 2 years agoAs stated by others, it does not work all the time, sometimes requires refresh. Mentioned greasemonkey script is more reliable.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Rolen47, 2 years agoOften it doesn't work the first time the page loads. Have to hit refresh for it to work. The GreaseMonkey script by Fuim works more reliably.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16838711, 2 years agoPartially functional. It redirects to normal YouTube however you open a short, EXCEPT when you open it by clicking on a short from your homepage—i.e., the most common way to open a short.
You have to refresh the page to get it to work, when it should just work automatically. - Rated 4 out of 5by catlop, 2 years agoseems to only work when you open the short in a new tab or refresh the page, but still great
