- Rated 5 out of 5by Rodrigo, 4 years agoI think this is a good idea, in spite of the other issues that Firefox could have as a browser. I'm really concerned about the way we are heading as humanity while driven by social networks like youtube or facebook. We need to push back the widespread and harmful rabbit holes where people gets sucked into conspiracy cults.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Proton UI color fix, 4 years agoThis really should not be Mozzila's priority. As their financial situation is getting worse, they should focus on things that actually matter for the future of web. Like keeping Firefox alive to help fight Google's monopoly and literal W3C group ownership.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13790203, 4 years agoToo many people say they are being shown content that is seriously harmful as a direct consequence of viewing videos about something else. I'm so glad this research project exists to help fill the transparency gaps of YouTube so we can better understand how their automated recommendations work and hold them accountable.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Dr. Jeff, 4 years ago**TL; DR: Although well-intentioned, the way this extension works enables Echo Chambers and Censorship to thrive, and may go against the idea of a "Healthy Internet"; but at least it's open source.**
Positives: At least I can find a plus on the Open Source...
Negatives: Having read all the Instructions and Privacy Notice, analyzing it through my personal lens on Censorship and Echo Chambers, and using it for a little while, I can safely say this could be a tool for censorship and echo chambers. (Suggestions will be sent later to Mozilla.)
This is specially worrying given the bottom disclaimer on the RReporter page:

- Rated 1 out of 5by Gernsback, 4 years agoSlows down YouTube so much it becomes sluggish even on a high-level PC (and even more if it's dated, tested on two systems).
And who the heck opens a video he does not like? Don't see how this can improve my experience.
No idea why you're doing this, complete waste of time. - Rated 5 out of 5by DanieL Rojas, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15649295, 4 years agoSomeone needs to watch youtube recommendations. It would be better if we could report advertisements.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Korwin, 4 years agoЯ не вижу практических перспектив у этого исследования. Кроме того, неужели, было сложно перевести описание и интерфейс на языки, предусмотренные платформой addons.mozilla.org? У корпорации Mozilla совсем плохо с финансами и кадрами?
