(I mean I want to use left click to open new tab in background) - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13519208, 7 years agoDoesn't work at all on Quantum running on Linux.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13518631, 7 years agoBecause Firefox has changed, i had to abandon Right Links and find a new extension : Right Click opens link...etc.
It works fine and i'm quite happy with it, but a very good function with Right Links was the possibility to make visible the contextual menu with a long right click instead of using the Ctrl key. Could I expect you to add this possibility ? Thank you. - Rated 3 out of 5by aorza, 7 years agoWorks sometimes, but not all the time - I'm mostly getting the context menu when I right click.
- Rated 5 out of 5by revija, 7 years agoStrange thing - works perfectly on x64 Windows, but on x86 do both on right click: opens page in bg tab and shows context menu.
Update: found the reason - 'absolute enable right click' script was running.
It would be great if it's possible to add function 'Long Right Click' (about 300ms or configurable) which opens link context menu.
UPD2. I know that. But to press ctrl I have to put away my beer can, which isn't productive.Developer response
posted 7 years agoYou can ctrl+click to get the context menu.
Update: I'll consider adding a long right click option to the next version. - Rated 2 out of 5by Sisquiede, 7 years agoCan I open the tabs in rightmost rather than in the right ?
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13498188, 7 years agoAn Awesome Add-on That Lacks Just 1 thing (But it's too important for Many Users): The Ability to open the context menu of a link
Sometimes i just want to use an option in the context menu of a link instead of opening it. - Rated 4 out of 5by Spiccico, 7 years agoI'm pretty happy with this addon, but sometimes you need to clik on a link to see options or something like that, instead of having it opened. So I suggest to add a button, like used by other addons (happy right click for example) to toggle your addon on and off quickly.
I hope my basic english was clear enough.
Thaks for your attention - Rated 5 out of 5by Marco, 7 years agoPlease add compatible with Linkificator 3.1.1 and link bookmark, thank's
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13492705, 7 years agohave to do cntrl+right click to get functionality; regular right click still normal context menu
i.e. the opposite of the description, and much less user friendly - Rated 3 out of 5by jadams, 7 years agoI am getting Firefox error that says this extension slows down Firefox. Other than that it works well.

- Rated 5 out of 5by maiamaia, 7 years agoThis worked perfectly and i loved it, then i stupidly disabled it and it wouldn't work again, rightclick just got the usual submenu 'open in new tab, open in new container tab (what's one of those?) etc', and i've deleted my old profile and reinstalled all my addons, reinstalled, disabled enabled, everything, and still the same. So it would be a clear 6/5 but i went and ruined it, let me be a warning to others! Well i now managed to disabled container tabs, but it said it was already disabled, but before that option kept coming up. Anyway, i'm not disabling it ever again like i used to the old firefox version :)

posted 7 years agoThere is a setting to enable this. Goto AddOns from the Firefox menu, and click the Preferences button for this extension. Scroll down and in the settings section, select 'Foreground' option for the middle click and right click settings. Now, the browser will automatically switch to the new tab.- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13396855, 7 years agoStopped working on my both laptops since 31/10/17. Any ideas what to check? Firefox reinstall didn't help..

posted 7 years agoNot really sure what happened here. Is it working again now? There have been no changes to the extension, so I'm not exactly sure how I can fix this. - Rated 5 out of 5by Ap11o, 7 years agoThe add-on is working fine, but every time Fx starts (I am using 58 Nightly and Windows) a yellow alert appears across the top of the page warning that it is slowing down Fx and asking if I want to stop or remove it - but this alert also disappears too quickly for me to select any of those options! Not that I would.

posted 7 years agoI believe this is due to the manner in which the extension listens for changes to the DOM. It's a bit of heavy code, but generally runs fast. I'll try out a few different approaches and see if I can get away with Firefox not throwing the slow extension warning. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. - Rated 3 out of 5by cmos5784, 7 years agoworks on most pages however when closing the new tab it dosen't go back to the page with the link, it goes to the tab on the right.

posted 7 years agoThis is default browser behaviour. The extension is designed only to change the right click behaviour and not tab close behaviour. - Rated 5 out of 5by pr_woktoss, 7 years agoThank you Bg Dam!
Would even be better if right clicking on toolbar bookmarks would open tabs. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firebreathing, 7 years agoRolling back to version 0.0.3 allows this great extension to work again. An uninstall of the extension, followed by a re-install was required. But now it works again. :)
Developer response
posted 7 years agoIt seems to be working fine at my end.
Could you please provide the following details for debugging:
1. OS
2. Firefox Version
3. Open up console (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+J), then right click a link. If anything is printed to the console, that particular message.
Update:
As a temp measure, I have rolled back the 0.0.4 changes. Please downgrade to 0.0.3.
