posted 5 years agoSorry, didn't see your review before! To be honest I've never tested this add-on on Android. Your review suggests it doesn't work there, so I removed it from the listings for now to avoid confusing future users. Sorry again and thanks for the report! - Rated 5 out of 5by Piston, 5 years agoIn version 74, it caused an error, but when it was updated to 74.0.1 it started working! Whith symlinks it's a very necessary addition. I would only like to save without confirmation of the directory, even if the firefox options include a request for the save path.

posted 5 years agoHey, Piston! Thanks for your review!
I was unaware of the error so I wouldn't be able to tell the cause, but I'm glad it's working now.
I also wish it would be possible to do what you said, but unfortunately Firefox doesn't offer that possibility. You either have to keep confirming each download or disable the option entirely. I think it would be a great idea to file (or find) a bug on Bugzilla for that. - Rated 4 out of 5by john morton, 5 years agoworks well for me, but its missing some of the actions in the legacy addon I used for years til it broke after firefox 52.
This was called Context Menu Image Saver by choobin, it had a pull down in options for "if the image exists the save action will be": 1. prompt user, (giving the choices rename or overwrite), 2. save as a unique file, (rename). or 3. overwrite the existing file. This worked brilliantly for all situations, Please incorporate this feature if you can, Regards.Developer response
posted 5 years agoHey John, thanks for your feedback!
Unfortunately it seems Firefox Quantum still doesn't support a prompt. Here is the issue:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1425515
However, it does support manually setting the option, which - if I understand correctly - is what the extension you mentioned does. This should be fairly simple to implement, so I'll have a go at it soon! - Rated 4 out of 5by Fanfan, 5 years ago

posted 6 years ago¡Hola, Kenji!
