by Firefox user 15823984, 6 months agoThis extension had been working almost flawlessly on YouTube for many years, but recently no download links appear on my end anymore. This seems to have started a couple of months ago, when YouTube started to implement heavy restrictions if users didn't allow ads on their site. From those days onward, some downloaded files with SaveFrom.net started to download incompletely (most of the file downloaded, but by the end the download suddenly stopped and left two file leftovers, one with the incomplete media that managed to download, and an empty file), and later on, download links started to be fewer and fewer, until they disappeared completely.
I've tried disabling most of my other extensions (adblockers, script blockers, tracking blockers, etc.), but to no avail.
I've also tried rolling back to earlier versions of the extension (all versions from v10.19 to v10.5) and none has worked, which supports the theory the issue comes from YouTube itself and that the extension needs an update.
Is anyone else having the same problem or is it just on my end?
UPDATE 1: Add-on has recently updated to version 10.20 and now it does show all download links on YouTube, but when trying to download any, it gives an error and no file is downloaded.
UPDATE 2: I'm glad to know the add-on is working fine again on version 10.24. However, it no longer grabs OPUS audio files. Is this function planned to be restored on a future revision?
