- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14799992, 5 months agoI tried this app to remove Scamazon from my search on Firefox but it did nothing. So annoying when every time a person searches for something, example: a Joe Blow door knob, and as soon as you hit the search button, the first entry is always from Scamazon and it reads: we have Joe Blow door knobs, but when you open the site, there's everything from pump handles to you name it, but there's not even one door knob to be found. I wish there was a way to completely remove everything Scamazon from my computer, because if they have to be so dishonest even when doing a simple search, I sure wouldn't trust buying any of their cheap, toxic chinese knockoff garbage.

- Rated 4 out of 5by francois, a year agoMy main interest is the option "Show order number for each search result" but it fails.
Tested with the latest version of the extension running Firefox 118.0.1, Waterfox G 6.0.3, Opera 103.0.4928.16, Vivaldi 6.2.3105.58.
Searching via Bing and Presearch the default is showing search result numbers.
Can anybody confirm that Google now found a way to disable this option? - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13307495, 2 years agoI use your add-on only for making the bottom bar of the google search results more beautiful. I mean that bar with that stupid text like gooooooooooooooogle.
In higher versions of firefox 104 and 110 there is an error of some kind.
When 'enable for' and 'google' are on and all other things are off then:
When you press the letter x or z then google refreshes itself. Also when the cursor is in the google searchfield!
When 'enable for' is off and the checkmark on google on then the letter x or z does not refresh the google page. But in that case there are huge oversized buttons at the bottom of the google search results, it says
NEXT and PREVIOUS very big.
Could you please repair these things for higher versions of firefox?
I am using v1.2.18 at the moment. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13112466, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by McGerhart, 5 years agoGreat Addon, like it very much, very useful to define fast a google search. Remembers me at the old "Googlebar lite" which was quite as useful, but had more functions. Highlight words was great.

You have this possibility to block sites and expressions, must still check it all, but seems good too.
My 5 cents: whats not so good is your interface. Its a bit confusing. Here an idea what could be better for the users.

Main Problem: the buttons are too far away from the selected button (and these are right, which is very unusal). Better left und near the selected item.
The Words "Search" "with" "published" "using" btw are unnecessary too, those who use this Addon know whats meant, only the important info here in this search bar.
Your Info for Google syntax is good, but with one exception: "related:domain" is quite useless, better do it with this search phrase (as there are no more directories nowadays ;):
-- similiarsites "network-tools.com"
Compare the results with: related:network-tools.com
Best wishes for this Addon. - Rated 5 out of 5by exaoss, 5 years agoGreat add on and feature rich, highly recommended.
@Dev, any plans to add an option to be able to sync.. something like exporting to dropbox, gdrive, or whatever . That would make it enough for me to drop feedly for this addon. Also will gladly donate to fund this feature. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13404543, 5 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by mikypilot, 6 years agoGood and functional The closest thing to the excellent but abandoned GoogleMonkeyR script. Hopefully you will add functions such as multiple columns, background color to the results, and preview of the pages. Good job. Thanks.

posted 6 years agoNote that you can define custom CSS file per search engine in SearchMage options. This will allow you to change colors, background, column layouts etc. pretty well. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13095960, 6 years agoExcellent and very useful tweaks to current major search engines. Expecting more refinements.
