- Rated 3 out of 5by Sporitus, 4 years agoIt shows up on every selection. So boring!. You can switch it off, but this is not the best option. It is better to highlight only by pressing the button.

posted 4 years agoDear Sporitus, if you click on the extension icon in the browser address bar it will disable highlight mode and the highlighting popup will not show up when you select text. Whenever you want to save a snippet, simply turn on the extension by clicking again on the icon. - Rated 5 out of 5by Matheus Oliveira, 5 years agoPerfect extension. It is limited by the free plan, what is completely understandable.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15260905, 5 years agoAnyone who uses the web as a research tool or uses Kindle then this add on is a MUST. It's excellent for compiling research notes into one place. All your notes and highlights from Kindle can be imported very easily and quickly. Snippet allows you to file your research notes into different folders and has a tag option for easy access to your work.
I highly recommend this add -on. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13568809, 5 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14613453, 6 years agoA really useful tool. I read a lot of books from fiction to poetry to non-fiction, and Snippet helps me to get the most out of my Kindle highlights and notes.
I highlight text for a variety of reasons: as a reminder to do further research of facts in a non-fiction book, or to save great examples of language, dialogue, characters, etc., in novels and poetry, but also phrases which trigger ideas for my own writing.
I really like the way I can list my highlights by book or author, sort them into sequence, use the Kindle highlighting colour codes to categorise them. Then, when I'm ready to refer back to my highlighted sections I can display them in my browser and/or download them to a PDF or other text format onto my Laptop. Very happy with the way Snippet does all this. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14494474, 6 years agoThis is one of my favorite Firefox add in’s and I hope it has long sustainably. The only thing I would like to see fixes is all text highlights on webs stays highlighted. There was another add in that I used before where the highlighted text snippets always stayed highlighted. Instapaper has this functionality too so maybe their code can be looked at.
