by Luna, 24 days agoDoes its job, but there is no customization AT ALL. Since when have file sharing sites been "inappropriate"? Can't disable any of the categories or add sites.

- Rated 1 out of 5by DillanW, 6 months agoYou can't even add or romove certain sites. You'd think if you clicked on the addon from your list a settings menu would pop up but nope. Terrible addon.

- Rated 4 out of 5by DALJHAIR, 2 years agoEs una excelente app. Desde que la instalas todo el contenido automáticamente te lo prohibe, sin embargo , prohibe hasta los videos del Youtube, no puedo ver mi video de ASMR porque me lo prohibe. Espero lo arreglen.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Drago, 2 years agoWhy the heck it blocks entire startpage.com?! As its my search engine of trust, this addon really can't differ between unknown and porn websites - useless for me until it get fixed

posted a year agostartpage.com cannot be enforced as a safe search engine so we added it to our Unsafe Search Engine category which is a blocked by default category. - Rated 5 out of 5by Stalgo, 3 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Clippy, 3 years agoWorked great, until the recent firefox update broke it. The developer tends to be very responsive, I really hope they fix this.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Armus, 5 years agoI really, really like the idea of this. However it lacks any settings and forces options that don't work well in all cases. For example, it tries to load Gmail with safe mode on strict. In other words, you can't access Gmail because there is no such thing as safe mode on Gmail, so you get a 404.

posted 5 years agoThanks for your review - the YouTube filter can be more aggressive at times than the Restricted Mode inside the YouTube app. - Rated 4 out of 5by FireFoxUser1893847, 5 years agoThis is an incredible extension and it is very good for people just looking to filter out stuff they dont want to see. All the other extensions that do what this does just dont work or are very clunky.
The only reason im giving this extension a 4 star instead of 5 is because it really does need some customization. All I really want is a whitelist option for websites like youtube as this extension does what I want it to, but blocks some videos I like to watch on youtube.
Since this app doesnt support a password to prevent removal and claims to be for self-management I see no reason why it should not also support a feature like this. If this feature is added I would happily redownload this filter onto my browser.Developer response
posted 5 years agoThanks for your review - customization is something we want to tackle at some point. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15207906, 5 years agoFinally! I've tried many extensions. Some do a decent job at blocking porn websites but they never block Google Images searches. This one does!
I've been trying to quit porn for a long time and whenever I'm feeling weak, I will go through Google. Starts off with normal searches and hours later ends up with porn.
This extension is just a safe-guard to help me ask myself the question: Do I really want to go down this road again? Before I actually do it. Of course requires some self control, but this is helpful nonetheless.
It works by forcing safe mode even if you try to turn it off.
Thank you for making this.Developer response
