Strongbox AutoFill by Phoebe Code Limited

by Yemeth, a year agoIt works and keeps getting better and better.
When it doesn't work, it's mostly due to strange websites doing strange things (the kind of problems you experience with every password manager).

- Rated 1 out of 5by Diamon, 15 hours agoCurrently It doesn't support passkeys and pure url matching functionality for subdomains.
For example I have account for AWS (Cloud provider) and regular account for Amazon (e-marketplace) . Strongbox doesn't recognize what's the difference. - Rated 2 out of 5by Davide, 3 days agoIt works, but it's very primitive;
For example, it doesn't even create/save/catch new logins... - Rated 3 out of 5by Antti, a month agoI like Strongbox. I wish it integrated better into Firefox. Starting from 5 stars.
On macOS the keyboard shortcuts in the UI are wrong: ctrl+shift+L/O when it's actually cmd+shift+L/O. -1 star.
I haven't figured out a way to navigate the suggested logins with only my keyboard or how to unlock my database with only a keyboard. -1 star. On Safari I can just press down/up to navigate them, select the correct one, enter my db password and get the information autofilled. Not here.
It's ok though. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18631857, 2 months ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by zakmck, 3 months agoIt requests the permission "Exchange messages with programs other than Firefox" without any explanation. I don't think it's reliable.

posted 3 months agoHi there, we need this permission to exchange messages with the Strongbox program, this is how we provide passwords/logins for you to AutoFill. I'm afraid this is just an absolute requirement for basic functionality.
Best wishes,

- Rated 5 out of 5by cryptosteve, 2 years agoAlready works very well. Sometimes non-password fields are covered by the popup and there are other small problems. I would be very happy about a further development anyway.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Tommi, 2 years agoTwo very important problems:
• 2FA codes are randomly pasted (even after login), therefore overwriting the clipboard.
• The login fields are not correctly identified.
As of right now, the extension is more stressful than useful. - Rated 5 out of 5by n8d, 2 years agoSo far so good. The font size in the match list is small and hard to read, so it would be nice to bump that up or have some control over it.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Antti Harju, 2 years agoIt quite sketchy to encourage your users to install a random-seeming extension for their password autofill. I have never before heard of "Phoebe Code Limited" in relation to Strongbox.
But it seems to work wonders :) love the "always fill on load with first match" option. Way better than Apple's integration. - Rated 3 out of 5by Sam, 2 years agoIt's pretty basic but it works for passwords, however it doesn't work for credit cards, address, name etc....
