The settings have ALL my windows and tabs to automatically save and restore... I am missing more than half my windows and hundreds of tabs!!! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12286457, 2 months agoJan-2025 This outfit used to have two extensions - a video downloader and this Tab Session Manager. The video downloader stopped working about a year ago and now the Tab Session Manager has stopped working too. For almost two years, I've allowed them to autodebit my Paypal - BUT NO MORE. When I wrote them about the video downloader not working I never got a response. Adios.

Dell Precision M6600 w/8GBy - Rated 1 out of 5by V G, 2 months agoThe extension no longer stores any sessions. Its basic functionality is broken. The last update was almost 7 months ago. Has it been abandoned?
- Rated 1 out of 5by JustinM, 2 months agoHasn't been updated in almost 7 months and lots of outstanding bugs on their Github page. They just don't seem to care about this anymore. Look elsewhere.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Cronodoug, 3 months agoI just want the pinned tabs to remain open even without restoring the session. This does nothing more than create a more bureaucratic history, just like restoring the session.
- Rated 1 out of 5by smow, 3 months agoIt's been broken for a few months now - and nothing actually works.
- Rated 1 out of 5by randomhero1, 5 months agoDoes not work. File has the data inside it, yet this add on does nothing with it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Lorry, 6 months agoLatest 7.x versions don't work - I lost all my data like many others. I have gone back to the last 6.x version but I am not happy about the loss of data.
- Rated 1 out of 5by chameleon87, 6 months agoBorderline useless. Autosave for sessions does absolutely nothing as I've had to painfully find out the hard way, which makes the whole point of this extension moot.
Still looking for a firefox equivalent of the chromium plugin "session buddy"... and this one here definitely isn't an option if the most basic features just don't work.
Literally the only plus point I've found was that it's able to save and restore private windows, which I use to log into multiple accounts for the same site (rather than constantly switching between them). Hardly worth it if everything else doesn't work properly though - Rated 1 out of 5by displayname39402, 6 months agowhen I save one session it removes the one I saved previously. exporting sessions stopped working because of some error with website name characters or something. useless. could be suspended tabs issue. doesn't get updated ever. bugs don't get fixed ever.
seriously remove this t from the browser. it's outdated and not being updated. crashes after few uses and you can't fix it there are no easy workarounds. why keeping this useless extension in browser - Rated 1 out of 5by Sergey Kondakov, 6 months agoAs others already said: it's completely useless. Autosave is silently failing, restoring manually saved session is practically impossible (at best you can reopen individual tabs) and it may randomly wipe your entire history of saved sessions. Then under Wayland desktop session even button to manually save a session disappeared and shortcuts do not work. The only way to do anything was opening it as tab where button came back. Also, "export sessions" button does nothing.
- Rated 1 out of 5by SweatTechnique, 7 months ago"Once again, opening saved sessions doesn't work. Only individual tabs can be opened from a saved list. Even reinstalling the addon and exporting the sessions beforehand doesn't help. It seems that somewhere indexing is set incorrectly, or due to inaccurate identifiers, the addon cannot correctly read in which order the tabs should be opened and in which window, which is causing this problem. It would be great if this could be fixed!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Aria, 7 months agoI can't import my tabs from Session Buddy, I get "Read failed" every time I try. Tired to save and import individual sessions to see if it will work, still not importing.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13568784, 7 months agoWorked great for years until after a recent update, it deleted all my saved sessions. On another device, not only are my saved sessions gone, but it now keeps saving every single browsing session on its own?
- Rated 1 out of 5by qweer, 8 months agoIt opens tabs slower than native Firefox session. And when I switched it off to try working without it, all the tabs except "New Tab"s disappeared. What is the use of "session manager" if it just loses your session?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Thiet, 8 months agoWorked fine for years but suddenly stopped doing what it is supposed to. Opened FF and last session did not load. Go to load session manually and all saves have disappeared except for one from three months ago. Won't import files. Won't export files. Won't autosave. Manual save works, mostly, but consistently deletes all but last save. Developer obviously doesn't give a crap because this issue has been going on for a while and he/she hasn't responded to any of the many reports, yet can and will respond to random, non-extension breaking things.
Useless. - Rated 1 out of 5by John Mar, a year ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14200306, a year agoMy last autosaved session is 2024.01.18. After that it stopped autosaving. In other words: unreliable, therefore useless.
It always was slow, but at least it did what it was supposed to do. But now this changed. Used it for years, now I have to look for something I can rely on.
Also compacting sessions deleted them all.
Piece of garbage!
Will never understand, why when a product is working it has to be used as a playground where the developers want to show how good programmers they are and in the end fuck it all up. - Rated 1 out of 5by MrSpiffyFF, a year agoThis extension originally worked great. I could save sessions, restore whole sets of windows and tabs, etc. For some time now, this extension has become useless. It does still save sessions, and I can open individual tabs again, but it will not restore windows or whole sessions again, which is the whole reason why I installed it. I now have to click each individual tab listed to open them all back up again. Such a pain!
Until this extension works properly again, I cannot use it at all. Went from 5 stars to 1 star.
