by Firefox user 17713956, 16 days agoQuite simple and very useful. Helps to organize tabs and thus thoughts/ things to do.
I should have been using it earlier.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Timofey Sherudilo, 2 days agoA very good extension. I could at last drop OneTab. But it would be nice to have read-only groups, because the majority of my saved groups are reusable. And I always fear to press the wrong button (and remove group instead of opening it). 😊

posted a day agoThanks, I'm glad you like it! If you do press the wrong button by mistake, you can always get your group back from deleted items. So don't worry too much if you make a mistake, it's easily fixable. :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Kiwi18, 3 days ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by voskresenie, 7 days agoIt seems as though I'm having an issue most others are not encountering, so I hesitate to give a poor rating, but after installing this add-on, I noticed my browser slowed down considerably. Extremely sluggish and frustrating, to the point of being unusable. I verified that this is due to the add-on by using Firefox's Process Manager. The 'Extensions' process hovers at 1-5% CPU usage when I have this extension disabled. When I enable it, it rises to between 50% and 100% CPU usage, and stays that way even 10 minutes after enabling it (which I did to ensure it wasn't just a start-up cost). It drops again within seconds of disabling the extension. I do have a large number of windows open, which may be part of the issue, and my goal was to reduce that number using this extension. However, I could barely get a single tab stashed in 10 minutes, so unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to use this to get to that point. I hope the developer is able to identify the source of the high CPU usage I've experienced, as it otherwise seems to be a very good extension. Will check back in a few months and try again.

posted 7 days agoPlease open an issue on GitHub and I'd be happy to troubleshoot with you there. Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by PyroTabby, 8 days agoTakes the standard bookmarking system of old and improves upon it's usability in every regard I could imagine.
every use case I could think of with this plugin over traditional bookmarking is just more fluid and quicker:
selecting bookmarks to move is based on checkboxes rather than mouseclicks plus control/shift key.
moving bookmarks to a folder is as simple as clicking a button hovering near desired folder rather than needing to drag and drop, risking a misclick mistake.
If I stopped to open up a bookmark I don't recognize to check it out none of the checkboxes already selected disappear,
this addon also integrates into the old bookmark system rather than replacing it so import/backup and sync works perfectly fine and directly modifying the bookmark folder itself doesn't result in any detrimental effects from what I've observed.
After this addon had already impressed me, I thought to myself that the text of the folders/bookmarks seemed small and experimentally tried a classic ctrl+mousewheel and found that the madman had considered what I thought to be an edgecase was considered and supported.
Best addon I've ever seen after uBlock, very well thought out and executed refinement of bookmarking. so good that this should, in my opinion, be incorporated into official firefox browser releases.Developer response
posted 7 days agoHigh praise indeed, thank you so much for sharing! I'm really happy to hear that a lot of the small touches have made things smoother and easier for you.
And you're right about modifying the bookmark folder itself—not only should there be no detrimental effects, it is fully-supported to move bookmarks around however you please using the tool of your choice. (Extensions that auto-move bookmarks do sometimes cause problems, but this is the exception, not the rule.) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13583898, 12 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17515536, 17 days agoSo, you're telling me I can have a beautiful, sleek UX/UI like OneTab, SessionBuddy, or Taby...
I get seamless syncing, just like TabSessionManager, but without needing a Google account or reconfiguring every new device.
And all my tabs are saved as bookmarks, so I never have to worry about losing them and can use Firefox Sync to access them anywhere?
Where has this extension been all my life? I swear, I wish I’d found it sooner!Developer response
posted 16 days agoSometimes you really CAN have it all. ;D In any case, I'm glad you found it now, and thanks for the review! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15016633, 20 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Daniel, 23 days agoI love how simple and practical it is. The fact that the tabs are synced to others computers is a game changer and makes me a lot more productive!

posted 23 days agoI'm really glad to hear you're enjoying it! Thanks for the review! And yeah, I agree with you on sync—when I first started building Tab Stash, I was really surprised that no other tab-manager add-on at that time had even tried to implement sync or use bookmarks. That's part of what prompted me to build it in the first place! - Rated 3 out of 5by Atma, a month ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Vladimir T, a month agoInstalled a couple of hours ago. So far I like everything. But I haven't figured out yet whether I can sort tabs in groups alphabetically?
Developer response
posted a month agoYou can't sort within a group yet, but it's an often-requested feature. Can't make any promises, but I'm definitely keeping it in mind for a future release. Thanks for the review, I'm glad you're liking everything so far! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14444268, a month ago

Starred on GitHub ⭐ (which, funnily enough, has more stars than on here..!)Developer response

And that IS funny, I hadn't noticed GitHub has more stars until you mentioned it just now. Thanks also for the star! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18612813, 2 months ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18605801, 2 months agoThis add-on is super confusing. It said is would stash tabs as a bookmark but you have to go into a separate side bar to see the stashed tabs.
Would have been a great extension but it's not.Developer response
posted 2 months agoSorry to hear you've found it confusing. You can see the bookmarks created by Tab Stash in the "Tab Stash" folder under "Other Bookmarks". (You're also free to move the "Tab Stash" folder to someplace else that you're more likely to find, so long as it keeps the name "Tab Stash".) Hope this helps! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15160960, 2 months agoMy only problem is that the Tab Stash allows you to save duplicates.
Developer response
posted 2 months agoTab Stash does allow duplicates, yes. It used to remove them, but in my experience, this caused some pretty surprising behavior that people were unhappy with (sometimes creating duplicates is intentional), so I haven't found a good way to bring this functionality back yet. Thanks for the comment though! - Rated 5 out of 5by Tinker, 2 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Sashi, 2 months agoIt's very cool but need 2 options to be perfect:
- Choice to Lock a stash, because we can delete a stash or a tab by mistake. Or just because I open a stash who is a child, I don't want it to be remove from the child group.
- In the sidebard, the color background is always white or black unlike some other addon sidebar who take the color of our setting (Orange background for exemple). I need to choose the background color and the font color please.
BUG: The option(setting) page is refreshing infinitly, I don't know why?
It's just a positive feedback because I REALLY love your Addon! Hope you take it well, really an amazing great work :)Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi, thanks for the review! I'm happy to hear you like it and I appreciate the feedback!
Feel free to poke me on GitHub especially about the problem with the options page refreshing infinitely. I haven't been able to see that on my system and if you can share any more details about why it's happening, I'd like to see if I can fix it. (You can also see feature requests / request new features there.)
You can find the link to GitHub under the "Developer Comments" section of the add-on page (below the description). Sorry I can't link to it directly, Mozilla won't let me post links here anymore for some reason.
