I have tried probably 10-15 tab management extensions over the years, for both Firefox and Chrome. This is the best one I've ever used. It's simple and does the job.

Using bookmark folders to store tabs is ideal, because these can be synced with your Firefox account, and everything that is already possible to do with bookmarks (such as export/import) works here as well.

I love that I can set up a keyboard shortcut to stash and close the tabs of the current window. I wish there was a shortcut to open the stash in a tab without closing anything however.

This wonderful add-on has saved me from being buried alive under hundreds of tabs from different projects I'm working on.

I do have a few feature requests, would it be possible to add a setting in the options menu, so you can sort the tab groups from newest to oldest? This would save me from scrolling all the way down to the bottom of a large tab group to see the newest tabs within that group.

Perhaps even an option to pin specific tab groups at the top of the list?

Regardless this extension is an absolute lifesaver!

The extension is great if you're just starting out and have nothing to import from one tab OR you have few tabs to import. But if you like me have 5000+ tabs from one tab the importing process not only is a pain because it has to open each tabs sequentially, but it doesn't even work.
It just stop importing while still opening and closing tabs while stashing nothing.

The extension is great, and the best part is that it syncs across devices BUT again: it's nice only if you're new and have nothing to import

i see total groups and total tabs, but wish there was a way to know how many tabs are in each group.... hmmmm

Tab Stash is a truly useful extension. It improves considerably on the classic OneTab.

I started with OneTab several years ago, but it proved too quirky and unstable and easy to lose everything. I migrated to Better OneTab until it no longer worked with new versions of Firefox, so I begrudgingly returned to OneTab.

I had more than 1,500 webpages saved in OneTab, mostly articles I might need to refer to while writing but not "worthy" of being bookmarks. I found Tab Stash when I needed to do a refresh for Firefox and knew I would lose my OneTab list. (A saved export could be imported into the fresh Firefox, but what a hassle.)

Tab Stash solved several problems, starting with being able to import a OneTab export file. Then, since Tab Stash stores its contents as an addition to Firefox's bookmarks under the "Other Bookmarks" category, the Tab Stash contents survive a Firefox refresh and are ready to go when the extensions are reinstalled in Firefox.

After using OneTab, there was a slight learning curve for adding single or multiple tabs to Tab Stash groups. I'm not keen on Tab Stash displaying in a sidebar, although preferable to displaying in a new tab. There is an "advanced setting" that displays Tab Stash in a popup -- my personal choice.

Tab Stash needs to be open to save a tab into a specified tab group. I will give OneTab credit for being able to save tabs to a named tab group through a right-click menu without OneTab being open.

With hordes of saved pages, the capability to collapse the tab groups so only the group headings display is most appreciated -- saves a lot of scrolling to get to where you need to be.

The export function is a definite plus, offering a choice of six formats, and will save the group headings with ## to identify them. As if that isn't enough, they can be backed up along with bookmarks through Firefox's Manage Bookmarks function. The "Clickable Links" option essentially creates an HTML page that can be pasted into Word, although I would like a full HTML output option as well.

All in all, Tab Stash is an immensely useful addition to Firefox for anyone who needs to keep track of numerous webpages on a semi-permanent basis but doesn't want to clutter up their bookmarks collection.

Most session managers have UIs that are too complex or just badly designed.

This is finally one where every visible button is actually useful, and it doesn't try to do more than it needs to while doing everything it does need to do.

May be the perfect session manager addon.

Was pretty excited about this, but was having trouble stashing tabs - Eventually realized that the tabs have to be UNPINNED in order for the stash functions to work as intended? I kept selecting multiple pinned tabs and trying to stash to a group but it wouldn't work that way unless they were unpinned. I have at least 15-20+ tabs pinned at all times and having to unpin them to stash in groups is kind of a deal-breaker :-( If I am missing something please respond!

Loving it so far. Would love to get an autosave feature and/or group changes as in workona or simple tab groups.

Excellent extension. This extension along with "Switch to Previous Active Tab" make Firefox the best browser.
