- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17643966, 2 months agothanks, automatic reload works nice and "freeze animation" option is a very good idea :)
- Rated 3 out of 5by Владимир, 3 months agoНеудобно пользоваться. Лучше бы была возможность запускать и останавливать каждую gif анимацию.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Davide, 7 months agoPlease consider adding a "right click > toggle ALL gifs" menu item on the page.
Thank you! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17619259, 8 months agoJust installed it and it seems to work perfectly.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18279655, 9 months agoDidn't work at all. The "freeze animation" button comes up in the context menu, but does nothing even when I refresh the page. Also, it would be great if there was an option to just block all gifs automatically instead of having to toggle individual ones.

posted 9 months agoThis should have been asked in an Issue on GitHub. How am I supposed to check your problem without an example URL? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18267542, 10 months agoDoesn't work. Changed settings to make it as aggressively block gifs as possible, and it does nothing.

posted 10 months agoLikely what you are dealing with are not GIF images at all.
Would have been way nicer if you had created an Issue on GitHub to post your URL you had issues with. Then I could have told you if this page uses GIF animations and if it does not, my Add-on can do nothing. - Rated 5 out of 5by JeffBuckles, a year ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by mr. sparkle, a year agoThe toolbar button doesn't work. Nothing happens when you click it. If you enable the option to add "Freeze Animation" to the context menu then you can right click the animation and disable it that way. But it only works on one animation so if you're on a page with multiple animations/gifs then you would have to disable each one by one which is tedious.
I want something that will disable all animations on the page with one click.
Edit: so the toolbar button does work but it doesn't stop the animations instantly. After you click the button you have to refresh the page. Similar addons didn't require this. And the Freeze Animation command stops the animation instantly so why do you need to reload the page? That's kinda annoying.Developer response
posted a year agoThere is an option in the Add-on settings to aut-reload the page. It is disabled by default as this may be not what people expect. For example a unexpected page reload could cause data loss if you entered data in the web page. - Rated 5 out of 5by MMIta, a year agoWorks perfectly on Firefox. Hoping a version for the chromium universe.

Please, add toggling per tab: https://github.com/M-Reimer/toggleanigif/issues/12. - Rated 5 out of 5by Yeko, 2 years agoIt works! All add-on developers should use this one as gold standard.
I have no idea what would I have done if not for this zero-maintenance addon. It makes Internet tolerable by stopping annoying animations, and it does so unobtrusively. - Rated 4 out of 5by LeeBinder, 2 years ago
