- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13974913, 2 days agoPlease update this wonderful extension, after some Firefox update sometimes it doesn't load and you have to keep refreshing the page, until it loads up. Until this problem showed up, this was the best playback speed control extension that I have ever used.

posted a day agoThank you for taking the time to review and provide feedback. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide more details on how to reproduce the issue you encountered. To assist with this, I have attempted to replicate the issue by trying the following steps:
1. Load a new video directly from a URL.
2. Access a video from the home screen.
3. Click on a video that has a pre-roll ad.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to reproduce the issue. Please send the steps to reproduce to this email address, and I will do my best to investigate and resolve the problem. I appreciate your feedback and would like to resolve this matter. If you could provide more information, I would be grateful.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13914416, a year agoThis is what I've been looking for for a while, it's a shame that it didn't show up when I searched for it the first time. I just found it by chance.
I have a problem though: setting the small increment to less than 0.1 (eg 0.05) doesn't work. - Rated 5 out of 5by Skaifer, a year agoSimple, fast and smart way to control playback speed! Thanks for the work. I'll throw in my idea, cuz why not. You could leave only playback speed indicator and control the speed by just moving the mouse cursor over it and using scroll wheel to adjust in 0.05 increments, for ease of pinpointing. Implement it as a configurable option, of course.
REPLY: Yeah no problem. Went through a bunch of search results. Installed like 7 or something, till I found what fits best for my needs. Thx again, Timothy.Developer response

I don't have a lot of free time to add features but thanks.
How did you hear about this extension? - Rated 1 out of 5by allan999, 3 years agoused to be the Best! but no longer works properly: will report a high speed, but will actually be playing at 1.0x

posted 3 years agoI just pushed an update last week. Should be working now. Send me an email if you have any concerns tune-tailor@beene.org - Rated 4 out of 5by Max, 4 years agoCould you add the ability to change the speed by keyboard? Like num+ and num-
- Rated 4 out of 5by untaun, 5 years agoIt's impossible to set 1.25x or 1.75x speed. Great addon though.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Édouard Lopez, 5 years agoWorks fine, but 0.10x steps is annoying, also no quick way to restore 1x

posted 5 years agoThanks for the feedback, if 0.10x is too small of an increment you can configure it on the options page.
Based on your feedback I just pushed an update to allow you to reset the speed back to 1.0x by just clicking the current speed indicator. Make sure you have version 0.3.1. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12811095, 5 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Honiantic, 6 years agoIt works perfect! But when I open two or more tabs with Youtube and change speed in one tab, it automatically changes speed in all other tabs. Can you add an ability to change speed only in one particular video?
UPD: I prefer to have an ability to disable this feature entirely. Just to set speed individually for every video. Because in every particular case it needs different speed changes. Different people talk with different speed. Sometimes I use only 1.30, sometimes 1.90, sometimes (when it's a guitar playing video for example) I use original speed. Thanks in advance! ;)Developer response
posted 6 years agoHi Don-Petrushka,
Thank you for the review! Concerning your request, the extension is taking the speed you set on a video and applying it to all videos in the same category ( i.e. Comedy, Documentary, Education). Would you like to have an ability to disable this feature entirely or just to not change the speed in another tab already open (instead wait for the page to reload before applying the new speed)?
Thanks for the suggestion,
Timothy
Update:
Hi Don-Petrushka,
I have made an update. I added a few configuration options. Just go to the options page for the extension. Hope this has what you wanted :)
