posted 3 years agoThat was actually not intended as a flaw, moreso as it simplified assumptions if the flow was always gone through, even if it wasnt shown to the user, hadn't seen performance issues either, but I may be biased since I have a pretty powerful pc, I will look at returning it to leave sites alone entirely if blacklisted (I will still allow the context menu, but then a refresh is requred if the site is whitelisted)
It would also be a great help if you would send an email to baizeydevelopment@gmail.com about which urls cause extreme lag, it might be a bug I would have to look into :)

- Rated 4 out of 5by -, a year agoGood. Issues: It intrudes with localization warnings nonstop, even when turned off. Price calculation takes a lot of time. Mini calculator doesn't work. Spawns into edit boxes.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Elias, a year agoThe convert works well on sites with a few numbers that it identifies as a currency. I can easily overlook the smaller challenges there might be when it guess the currency wrong and the fiddling with the settings to make it work as you want it to.
Unfortunately some pages takes a lot of time to load or process data, as conversion can take some time to process pages with multiple amount of prices, even to the extend that Firefox itself suggest disabling it when it identifies that a page won't load.
Eventually i got around to do a performance analysis since loading a product page in a webshop made my pc fans go into turbo mode. It appears that this extension used 97% of the CPU time when loading a product page with 17 items.
While it probably adds additional nodes in the DOM and not just calculate a number, I don't fell like 97% CPU usage in 6 seconds is a good performance result. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17928793, a year agoNice clean and useful addon, well done.👍

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12522511, 2 years agoi like this extension, toggling by hover + shift works great! unfortunately, the settings are ignored: "convert automatically on page load" and "show localisation alerts". i have these disabled, but it still auto loads slowing down the page, and it still shows me these pop-ups. for this reason, i had to disable it. would love for it to be fixed so i can enable this great extension again.

Cannot convert CHY to AUD. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13646685, 2 years agoDoesn't convert from HUF
(Probably because in Hungarian it's abbreviated to Ft)
I would be incredibly thankful if it gets fixed :)
