- Rated 4 out of 5by sabofx, 2 months agoReally excellent tool that is under continuous improvement. Definitely worth every penny. I would rate it 5* if it would also support downloading videos from on npostart.nl.

- Rated 1 out of 5by delta1162, 2 months agoCreates a watermark you need to pay to remove. My rating is b/c they don't state upfront and i wasted time downloading the video before finding this out.

- Rated 1 out of 5by spin, 2 months agoFreeware version download only the lowest resolution in YT and automatically add big watermark with QR code. In my opinion this extension is completely useless.

- Rated 2 out of 5by NanDee, 2 months agoThe free version seems easier. I purchased the license hoping to download videos directly to MP3 but those options are not apparent. The "help" section of VDH shows screenshots that indicate selecting the output file format as MP3. In reality, what shows up (in my updated Firefox browser) looks nothing like the screenshot in their help section.
The only download format options I get are MP4s and MKV. In addition, if I start the download and realize I want it saved into a different folder, I have to cancel the download, go into settings and change the destination folder. But then the VDH will not allow me to download again from that same browser. I have to close the video, open a new tab and then cue it up again. BIG TIME WASTER.
If you want to download directly to MP3 you have to right click the 3 dots to the right of the "Download" and then "Download Audio" will appear as an option. This was very difficult to figure out.
In other words, the paid version is cumbersome and time consuming.
I did download their open source add but you need to close and re-open your browser, and even then the options to download and convert are not user friendly.
Hope this helps others. - Rated 5 out of 5by Heribert Schneider, 2 months ago
