- Rated 3 out of 5by Holic Shot, 4 years agoSeems like good addon that does what it says, however, I specifically needed to convert animated WEBP to animated GIF and this addon will only convert to JPG or PNG from WEBP. If at all possible, please add this ability! I'm also not sure why this sort of addon needs permission to 'access your data for all websites.' Be careful when choosing to install this.

posted 4 years agoThese kind of addons require the 'access your data for all websites' to get access to the image that needs to be converted. The permission structure of add-ons does not allow for a less intrusive permission to get this information. I am looking into adding support for animated images, however this is much harder than converting a static image so I can not give an estimate when it is ready. - Rated 5 out of 5by discord37, 4 years agoThank you! Webp has been driving me nuts, I like to save most images as jpg.

- Rated 5 out of 5by gbolcer, 4 years agoUsing Windows 10 as a platform, but any time I share a downloaded image, my friends, slack users can't use it. I've been manually converting using ImageMagick convert *.webp *.jpg, but that got tedious. This plugin is an extremely convenient workaround for what should be a setting in Firefox. Thank you!
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16139483, 4 years agosort of works but won't download gifv/webp to animated gif which is what I wanted it for. No option to save webp as gif, either
- Rated 4 out of 5by GenDemo, 4 years agoGreat and easy to use no problem. I love how you can set the settings for different source file type.
It would be great with this new stupid webp format, if you either had 2 options to save as .gif or as .jpg; or if it detected automatically if it was an image or a gif.
Thnx though - Rated 1 out of 5by ghandolhagen, 4 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by rado84, 5 years agoAll of the sliders for image quality don't work and I for one have no use of a PNG with low quality. Fix that and I might rate it with 5 stars.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Cherwally, 5 years agoIt will be nice if the contextual option will appear only when right click on active conversion types!
Like example i only need WEBP to PNG, but i don't need the contextual menu on any right click.
