作業目的ごとにウィンドウを作る使い方をする中で、開いているタブによってはウィンドウの役割が分かりにくい悩みがありましたが、解消されました。 - Rated 5 out of 5by cyricc, 2 years agoDoes exactly what it says. Love that it persists through session restore. Perfect little addon

Note on MacOS (don't know about Windows) that the named windows are alpha sorted when viewed by the Firefox Dock icon, but in creation order in the Firefox Window menu item. I actually like the two different views.
This extension allowed me to move from Chrome. - Rated 5 out of 5by tarets, 2 years ago

I'm sure there's a way to do this by digging through Firefox's internal code, but this dev already did it for us.
Thanks for making this, Tomasz Pamula. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15086754, 2 years agoGreat extension! It's easy to use and has simple but useful options.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Ahmed, 3 years agoAwesome that this works and the title stays after restarts. Not share how it works exactly since the other extensions don't.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Tony Murray, 3 years agoThis extension is very useful - it enables setting a custom title bar specific to Firefox profiles.
In Linux/Plasma/KDE, the window titlebar colors can therefore be customized through matching the window title (Window Management --> Window Rules --> Window title Substring Match/ Appearance and fixes) - Rated 2 out of 5by funicorn, 3 years agoI'm afraind this addon's feature is not clearly described, as it can't 'modify' a window title, whereas can only adds a prefix to it.
- Rated 5 out of 5by richard at latech, 3 years agoDoes exactly as described. Super handy for someone like myself that works with a project per window.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14068806, 3 years agoVery useful if you run Firefox using multiple browser profiles, this add-on tells me the name of the profile being used by the open window! Perfect! Thanks, much appreciated!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Fabio Correa, 3 years agoYep, exactly what I was looking for. This is a very creative, unobtrusive extension. Thanks for your work and for keeping it thriving over the years.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13633717, 3 years agoYou have no idea how much this helps. Firstly it is responsibility of Firefox to add window re-ordering and changing titles. Such a obvious basic thing. I can't thank you enough for this!!!!!!!!!!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Matto, 3 years agoThis add-on does one thing and it does it well. I wish this were part of the core firefox capability but it is not.
This add-on is a very simple and user-friendly way to get powerful labeling of your windows, so you can go straight to the one you want without having to remember which last-focused tab's title corresponds to the window you want.
Especially useful if you have a lot of windows and tabs and want to group tabs together by related content in certain windows. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16224331, 3 years agoThe existing excellent reviews are hard to fault! - a great utility and I am so glad to have found it.
If I could add an observation, it is this: I keep wanting to reorder the list of Windows that are presented when you hover over the Firefox Icon (in Windows) - that would make a fine enhancement imo. A right-mouse-click to the context-menu could present "Sort" and offer the following "by" options: Alphabetically, and chronologically (by creation date, by last modification date & by last used date).
You might even be able to add a drag & drop facility too?
Thanks so much for building and offering this Tomasz - it makes it possible to work efficiently with hundreds of open tabs.
Also, the developer of All Tabs Helper, Kevin Jones, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/all-tabs-helper/reviews/ has retired from duty and is encouraging developers to fork his code to continue as they wish with that marvelous product. Perhaps some features would make great enhancements to Windows Titler?
One that immediately comes to mind is another context menu offering to kill all active sessions - IE to stop them robbing bandwidth. That saved me from rebooting on many occassions so it must have released the memory consumed too.
The other obvious one is to add functions to that described above to facilitate drag and drop of tabs *between* windows.
Thanks again :-)) - Rated 5 out of 5by jam, 4 years agoDoes exactly what it says on the tin. Very useful if you work with multiple windows.
