The addon automatically searches for the translation with inverted languages. For example if you have selected French to English and you search for "word" it will automatically translate from English to French (like WordReference does). Although I'm aware it may not work correctly in case the word you try to translate exists in both languages, so the switch button will be added soon.

Even if they'd let you try the premium features they are not worth the so called "donation" then branded as price.
Worthless.
There's another extension almost identical which does the same but it's free, just get that:

However, four BIG things are missing for me to recommend it to my acquaintances :
1. it doesn't work in Reader View (when I use the keyboard shortcut);
2. lacks the possibility to set different keyboard shortcuts for example one for wordref English to French, another one for English to Spanish, etc.
3. it doesn't automatically recognize the language a a selected word, in order to translate it into a default set one by the user;
4. There is no light/dark auto theme (according to firefoxfox theme). - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15111020, 5 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by PERCE-NEIGE, 6 years agoThere's no feature to detect automatically the language. It is missing, as it's handy and included in many other useful translating addons. I wont be ready to buy the additionnal feature (as right-click translation, double-click translation, etc) since it doesn't detect the language...
Please, make the icon more unique, as it's almost the same as other google translate icon (same shape and same colors, only the "g" became a "w"), it's very hard to recognize the icon when you have other translation tools installed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Yuri_Never_Giveup, 6 years agoActually, it´s the best. I was looking for an specific add-on with the WordReference website´s feature, one of the most and useful dictionary/translator websites. First I couldn´t found an official add-on powered by the WordReference website, so congratulations for the developers for the well done work. I´ll always recommend it. Thx.
- Rated 4 out of 5by glyko, 6 years agoVery handy Wordreference addon!
Lacks one simple feature to become perfect: A little button that allows you to 'switch the direction' of the translation, e. g. changing from French to English to English to French. Having to select both languages from the drop down again is a bit of a waste of time.
