- Rated 5 out of 5by WV, 3 years agoWorks exactly as I expect it to, and so does every one of its features.
I especially like the Quick Reblogs feature, and I don't think I can use Tumblr at all without it. It's a complete gamechanger. Same with Access Kit; I like having the alt text in an easy to see spot.
It's all very useful, and I haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg with the features I use.
I will definitely continue to use this add-on. - Rated 5 out of 5by 0v7, 3 years agoI've been using XKit since the original XKit guy days, and this version is much more cleaner than every previous iteration I've used!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Derek, 3 years agoReally good extension. I miss a few thing from New Xkit (like the extension to filter the mass post editor), but for what it is and what it promises, it's amazing! I'm particularly surprised by how fast the Show Originals feature works. I'm not removing New Xkit yet, but this extension motivated me to disable it until I need it.

posted 3 years agoTumblr's mass post editor is still built on legacy code, so XKit Rewritten has no need (or abiity, as of now) to target it. Glad to hear you are enjoying the experience so far! - Rated 5 out of 5by Nyla Smokeyface, 3 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by lune 🌙, 3 years agoThis add-on is regularly updated and maintained by a trustworthy and knowledgeable developer! She works hard on this and it shows. Thank you, April! <3

- Rated 1 out of 5by tee, 3 years agoMissing features from the older one and the UI is much less accessible.

- Rated 4 out of 5by anon, 3 years agoFeels like it runs quite a bit more smoothly than New XKit, which is lovely. However I do miss scripts like Anti-capitalism and Read more now. I hope to see these features added back as time goes on. Still, pretty amazing work for a single developer!
Edit: I read through the GitHub project page and noticed there are no plans for Anti-capitalism to be implemented, because uBlock Origin exists. While uBlock does block the ads themselves, there is a white box with "sponsored" on it left behind. I'd love to have an option from within XKit Rewritten to hide that.Developer response
posted 3 years agoI agree the lack of cosmetic filtering by default is a problem, so I've contributed updated filters to EasyList to hide sponsored post containers, the sponsored sidebar section, and any takeover banners; this is awaiting review by EasyList maintainers, but in the meantime you can hide sponsored post containers by enabling AdGuard Base in uBlock Origin's filter lists.
EDIT: Due to the recent frequency of Tumblr regenerating their classnames, Anti-Capitalism has now been added as a feature. - Rated 3 out of 5by B2, 3 years agoIt's ok but unfortunately is missing a lot of key features. Maybe those will be added one day but right now it is very incomplete so it's better to stick with new XKit

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14790969, 3 years agoWorking very well! Wish there were more features, like the one that stopped icons from following the posts as you scroll, but nevertheless a very good job and a much prettier and more accessible interface.

posted 3 years agoThis is now a feature! Tweaks -> Remove sticky effect from post avatars - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15160966, 3 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by vu, 3 years agoThis looks great so far, and I like the interface a lot, but it seems to be missing several of the extensions included in New Xkit. Are there plans to include something like the anti-capitalism extension, and the option to keep the top menu bar from scrolling down with you, to name a couple missing features that stand out right off the bat?
