- Rated 5 out of 5by Ronnie, 3 years agoI love this addon. I just have a little suggestion. Could you make a feature that filters channel names in comments? For example, hide those that have emojis in their names, weird symbols, etc.
This would help filter spam bots that copy/paste someone else's comment. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14987899, 3 years agoWorks great, helps a lot with most p*rn bot comments, helps with idiots typing "who's xyz" and other! It's sad I had to look so long for a good and working one.
BTW get some other addons to customize youtube and basically Youtube is finally yours.
Thanks again for creating this extension. - Rated 5 out of 5by Koncur, 3 years ago

Previous review:
1. Would be nice to be able to turn off filtering by language. Sometimes it filters out comments that are just in very poor English, even though I have "Unknown" checked as well. I don't really care if I see comments in foreign languages, but I'm not about to go down the whole list to check off every language.
Also would be good to be have a blacklist mode, where instead of selecting the languages you DO want to see, you select the languages you DON'T want to see.
2. Would be nice to have more customization options for filtering words and phrases, like regexes or something. I was filtering the word "meta" (to get rid of comments about "meta gaming" in Critical Role), but I had to change it because it was filtering comments with words like "timetable".
3. I would love to have the option to not display the button that tells you whether the filter is on and how many comments have been filtered out.Developer response
posted 4 years agoThanks for your feedback! I just released version 0.1.2, in which I've implemented the following features:
- Not displaying the filter button
- Toggling language/word filter
- Regular expressions for word filter
I might have to work more on the UI, but Let me know if you find any issues.
