- Rated 5 out of 5by Dr.Ne0Gen3tic, 3 years agoThis Firefox extension, I find really extremely successful! You can make a lot of different custom settings and from the "range of functions", this Youtube enhancer is one of the best! You can change the appearance, as well as setting functions of which I did not even know that there are these on Youtube! Very nice! Please keep it up! This extension is really great, they have proven that they can program well! Also the graphical interface is a blast! PS: Please leave the emoticons as they are! Young people and "young adults" like this style! The one who complained about the emojis is surely already a poor old geezer.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Samtheprogrammer, 3 years agoCan you tone down on the emojis a little? They give me nausea. Anyway good extension.
Edit: It might make people go away because of there being multiple emojis on each line seperated. You might wanna consider changing that.Developer response
posted 3 years agothanks :) besides, maybe it is good for a description text to be remembered? Do you think it makes people less curious about the extension? - Rated 5 out of 5by gatomoo, 3 years agoVery good add-on. The interface is very well designed, and the features truly improve the Youtube website. Very good work, highly recommended.
My favourite feature is the playback speed override done with the mouse wheel (sadly the mouse wheel doesn't work in Firefox currently). - Rated 2 out of 5by Buddi, 3 years agoPowerful extension, however UI is buggy in Firefox version, stuff like mouse wheel for volume is not assignable in the shortcut section.
Often times need a full browser restart for functions to appear correctly.
Edit for Dev: I'm one of the people who reported it as a bug on github, however i also see that the extension hasn't been updated for Firefox for more than 6 months.
I wish I could make it a daily driver, but having to use Chromiums buggy JS integration has me coming back to Firefox.
Also please make mini player position assignable, so that its possible to not just have it in the top left corner. Scrolling to comments with the video in view is a godsent.
Unsure what creates the need for restarts, but i found that features just wouldn't change, might be my configuration, regardless it's been enough to avoid the features menu entirelyDeveloper response

2021: Hi! the mouse wheel shortcut assignment is a (the only) known firefox-bug yet (already in our Github Issues). Please report every other bug you might find. Do you know scroll wheel shortcuts from our Chrome version (or why would you miss it)? Our UI generally runs well in all Browsers and deserves 5 stars.
(Why do you do restart the browser? if you want you can reload any extension alone but it shouldnt be necessary) thanks! - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17008516, 3 years agoGood in theory perhaps, or for other functions, but I wanted one thing and one thing only: to play a playlist in reverse order. And sure, it shows the playlist in reverse order. Until the page refreshes, such as going to the next video, where it hops back and forth between original order and reverse order, and it doesn't actually play the videos in the reverse order. This completely defeats the purpose. I still have to manually pick the next video from the playlist, or YT will play the previous one.
I'd much prefer an extension that would let me save the playlist in reverse order. Then the extension would only have to do its job once instead of failing to do it with every new video.Developer response

2021: Hi, this feature was fixed / completed in our new version at https://github.com/code4charity/YouTube-Extension. Our Firefox version started recently. Yet we look forward to update the Firefox version soon and often.
I understand 'reverse playlist' is a legendary feature as people miss it. (Because other projects, providing this feature only, resigned, despite they had many users. Because youtube changed this repeatedly.) Thus we temporarily removed the feature from our descriptions.
Yet that is not what you can possibly rate here. What you are rating can only be our whole work with 100 features and an insane amount of work. That's how we always called and describe. Yet your rating actually has a (negative) impact - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15151657, 3 years agoreverse option only reverses the sorting of playlist but it still plays in the original order

- Rated 5 out of 5by Cyber Slav, 3 years agoAwesome addon, allows for the reversal of playlists, thank f***ing god
- Rated 5 out of 5by Blop, 3 years agoFantastic AddOn, very tidy and efficient, needs no permissions on installation, bravo!
- Rated 4 out of 5by ZeStarLight, 3 years agoThe extension looks great and has a lot of useful features to customize Youtube.
However, the last update was 4 months ago and it is still impossible to decrease or increase the sound with the wheel. Please keep this great extension updated on this browser! - Rated 5 out of 5by Duff, 3 years agoThe main thing I wanted was to hide annoying or distracting elements of the YouTube User Interface. This plugin does all that and more.
I've set comments and related videos to be collapsed by default for instance. I also saw I can turn off channel trailer autoplay, thank the gods.
Some elements aren't working like hiding likes. But hey it's free, I can't complain.
A neat feature is a very granular playback speed option, so you can play back videos at 1.1x speed for instance, or up to 8x speed.
Thank you to the developer. This greatly improves my experience of YouTube. - Rated 1 out of 5by IndigoLily, 3 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16917917, 3 years agoBeen using this extension for a few years now, it's great. Keep doing what you're doing! If you want a suggestion, the only thing I would want is to add the sort button back to artist channels, for some reason YouTube removed them.
