- Rated 5 out of 5by entioure, 3 months agoI absolutely love this extension. Nothing annoyed me more than being unable to pause a YouTube video for at least 5 seconds, the video playing automatically, even if there was no visuals, all because the platform is so unoptimized. This completely fixed that problem! The one thing that would make it perfect is if k / spacebar also worked to resume the video after the autopause.
- Rated 1 out of 5by SpringCatalogue, 3 years agoworks and has a toolbar, unlike James fray's YouTube™ No Buffer (Stop Auto-playing), but for some reason the devs Allen and Mark think this tool needs to reload all currently open tabs. very annoying hence unusable hence one star. sry
if at least the reloading wouldn't refresh the history, but it does. - Rated 5 out of 5by CyberAqyn, 4 years agoThat's what I needed - stops play when clicking a new video.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15298181, 5 years agoпоставил 5 баллов оценивая не качество работы а его нужность, если бы не это расширение (которое у меня недавно слетело но я его заново поставил) я бы давно был среди тех безумцев из новостей которые бегают за людьми в парке с чем то в руках, потому что только это расширение спасает меня от безумия которое вызывает автоматическое воспроизведение видосов в ютуб на миллионе вкладок одновременно , спасибо, разрабы.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Yinmin, 5 years agoIt keeps reloading the tabs and is generally confusing as the icon is suppsoed to change but thats hardly noticeable.
All i want is an extension that just allows 1 player instance and maybe 'a stop all videos' without reloading the whole tab.... That's all that is needed to keep everything tidy.
Since YT gets rid of the old layout for good, YTC doesnt work anymore. I looked through all youtube extensions and this is the closest i found... I'm so confused. This used to be a thing on several extensions. Why is it not anymore?? - Rated 5 out of 5by Storm-Julian Tersteeg, 5 years agoLovely plugin, does what it says. I only have one video playing in the background and I use multiple desktops, so this helps me to quickly pause a video without having to switch my view.
- Rated 4 out of 5by LeeBinder, 6 years agoStill working in FF 62.0.3 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I would give 5 stars if videos did not play for a second (or a bit less) at the beginning. Allen, are you still working on this plugin?
- Rated 1 out of 5by End User, 6 years agoHa-ha!!! It reloaded all and every youtube tabs at once and started all videos simultaneously!
Whatever button developers proposes me to choose - play/pause/stop, the result is the same: all streams noise at the same time!
How stupid! - Rated 1 out of 5by WhyINeedAccountForAddonsTho, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Marina, 7 years agoIt works! Sometimes it's a little bit annoying that the video plays for one second or so before pausing, though.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Mel, 7 years agoNot working for me in 54.0.1 (64-bit) on Mac. No pause. No stop. Just plays all videos immediately. Plus, when I click to advance the video playing location it jumps back to the beginning of the video. Obviously, this add-on is A WASTE OF TIME.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Korwin, 7 years agoНовые открытые в фоне вкладки начинают проигрываться все одновременно, а не начинать кэшировать, стоя на паузе. А дополнение нужно было в первую очередь для этого.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Funtime60, 8 years agoIt will stop the first tab I open in the background, but it won't stop any others. since the whole point is to pause YouTube videos when you open them in a new tab so you can keep looking after you open a video, only pausing one video defeats the purpose. The problem can't be on my end since I just reinstalled Firefox.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12977644, 8 years agoThe point for me, and I imagine many others, is to stop the video from playing automatically when you open a Youtube page that hosts a video. To have the audio playing and the video stopped does not solve the problem! If one is at work or simply doesn't want to waste the time of having the video load and play, or doesn't want to hear it... all these pruposes are not served by this plugin.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 6509382, 8 years agoSometimes it may take a second or two to auto pause but it never fails.
I don't know why other people are reporting that it doesn't work, maybe some incompatibility issues with other add-ons.
