- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 11836132, 5 years agothis is now very underhand, the link button takes you to :::https://loader.to/?link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q7c3RGmD54&f=6&s=1&e=20&r=coconvert....
there is nothing about downloading any music or film etc just a installer for "loader" erc and another donate button etc but for someone else, like a daisychain of "apps" ....reporting this to firefox team as it now seems fake, plus the permissions are way out of order now.Developer response
posted 5 years agoThe extension uses coconvert.com for conversion process. The converter project switched to loader.to short time ago. Seems I have to update the extension so that interface will be more clear again. But conversion still works. Download of MP3 and MP4 is possible, you have to click on the Button below the conversion progress box.
Update: In version 2.4.3 the workflow was updated so that interface is clear again. Developer response
posted 5 years agoSure, the conversion of the raw MP4 from YT has to be done by a website/server. That's not possible just client side inside of an add-on.- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15859028, 5 years agoI don't understand ho to use it. It does nothing.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13715004, 5 years agoWhy do you want a new permission to access my data for all websites which popped up in the update?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Kev88666, 5 years agoDoesn't work, don't create an app that calls itself a download app when you send the user to a page that tells them to set up their own downloader service to download, lol, its like whats the point of your app just to trick people or make them do all the work. Definitely try another youtube download extension before this one.

Anyway I would never install it in my main browser, because its code is secret and it can see all my passwords and other things that I write.

"The extension can read the content of any web page you visit as well as data you enter into those web pages, such as usernames and passwords."Developer response
posted 5 years agoMozilla is reviewing each extension and you also could check the code. There is no code doing such things, the permission is only used to handle embedded videos. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15410304, 5 years agoThis extension will place a donate button on every YouTube page that just says "Donate". The donate button leads to an obscure patreon page. I thought my computer was infected with malware.
