- Rated 1 out of 5by David, 2 years agoDoes not work, I set quality to 360 and the plugin keeps changing it back to 1080, seems to be no way to play in anything other than 1080, so I'm uninstalling

- Rated 5 out of 5by Robert, 2 years agoSo sick of youtube squandering bandwidth for no reason at all. I like that you can turn down the resolution and framerate. Seriously, youtube, there is no reason we need 1080p at 60 frames per second for everything. Thank you for this addon.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15227900, 3 years agoi want to like it but it's buggy. correctly sets the video quality on first page load, but if i change the video quality setting manually, my change is overridden and it switches to 720p (no matter what my setting in the app or what i change it to manually) and then i cannot get it to play at any other setting, including the original quality chosen in the add on :(
- Rated 2 out of 5by IQman, 3 years agoCurrently buggy with latest firefox update, won't let me chose other than 1080p, maybe only me, might update the rating later.
- Rated 3 out of 5by ЯромиR, 3 years agoSo I set the add-on to hold 720p with limiting 30fps
and it does the job.
Then I switch on YT player to 1080p(HD)and it allows me to do so, but no way back to default 720p setting preference. Not even if I disable add-on and reload the tab or go to another video. That's nasty annoying sticky sнiт!.. 🤬

- Rated 5 out of 5by Bipbop, 3 years agoWorks as advertised, and great for saving bandwidth (i assume, because of reduced bandwidth) for videos on the background, used for music.
To test: once you set it up to change videos to your preferred quality -- try setting a youtube video to different quality, then refresh (quality will auto-change to extension's preference).
It would be easier to use if there was a tool bar button + option to disable video. My use case: attempting to save bandwidth... This extension actually works better for my use case: Audio Only for YouTube™ | - Rated 5 out of 5by Игорь, 4 years ago
