You have to manually put the 1080p+ audioless video and the accluded aac audio file in the media converter to merge them but hey, at least you aren't forced to "go pro" to have someone else do it for you.

I have 2 issues.
1) I cannot seem to find the progress of the downloads anywhere.
2) When downloading any 3D SBS or Top Bottom video, the top and bottom do not capure correctly. The top half is perfect, but the bottom half is turned at 90degrees. When trying to view the end product on .. say a VR headset is a total disaster.
The previous version did not have this problem.
Will be great if someone can please look into this matter. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12271825, 7 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13504489, 7 years agoPerfect addon once again :-)
thank you very much for rewriting it for the webextension annoyance.
The downloaded AAC cannot be played for whatever reason as Anonymous user 93e9f3 mentioned, the converted MP3 can be played though. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13548405, 7 years agoIt still downloads videos fine but the option to download M4A downloads AAC files that won't play in anything, I keep getting "invalid file" messages. Also the false negatives issue others are reporting is present for me too.

- Rated 4 out of 5by patfla, 7 years agoI'm using FF 57. The add-on works fine provided the native client and ffmpeg are set up correctly. Fine with the exceptions that you can't yet specify your own download location and, at least for me, it throws up a false negative in the form of a dialog saying "Something went wrong," etc. - when in fact it seems to have worked correctly. Both video and audio are there in one file and it plays as it should.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13535110, 7 years agoUnobtrusive unlike the other YT downloaders, and easy to use. The converter is awesome. One of my favourite add-ons.
My only complaint is that due to the generic name, it's hard to find this plugin when installing a new browser. I've written down RayLo to save the useless trial-and-error plugin installations.
Note: not using FFx57... will let the early adopters deal with the inevitable plugin bugs. To the Dev, keep up the good work--it's appreciated. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13527646, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by EWF_X29, 7 years agoThis can not do anything the one for the old FF did. A big disappointment. Just isn't usable here. Have to find a new add on, sad day. Really liked the old version. If you fix this post it somewhere, hopefully i see it and can come back.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ricky H, 7 years agoI do not see a place where i can down load the video and have the audio down load as well, I i can not find it on the options page at all there is nothing to down load or add to so that is automatic.Maybe one of you guys can do it but i can not at all.The old Youtube Dowloader had a very simple way to get it all.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13510967, 7 years agoThe legacy FireFox/54 style one just worked and that was so awesome! This one has some realy good things and a few weird bits of tinkering now.
I came to the addon review page to find out why Mp3 and Opus were missing options. Has a ton of potential, more fidgety and qurky now.
Question for the author. Is their a reason FFMG is now seperate? I simply don't know why it's a seperate thing now. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dimitri, 7 years agoLa facilidad que da para extraer videos en diferentes formatos.
It´s the best ever!
