- Rated 4 out of 5by Jprr, 9 days agoI love this add-on. It enables you to watch livestream on the center of the screen instead of the left side because of the chat on the right side. And you can place the chat anywhere but you need to do it on the settings instead of just doing it on youtube screen.
A few months ago, there were a lot of problem with it not appearing at all. But it got more stable because youtube wasn't updating its interface anymore. Which I thought is the source of the problem and not the add-on itself. - Rated 5 out of 5by Democrit, 2 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by spark9, 5 months agoWorks as intended albeit with some fiddling if used with other extensions. Can the devs PLEASE make this livechat view work is full screen mode? I would give it a 5 star if that can be done!

posted a year agoThis might be an error caused by YouTube currently fighting ad blockers. Please try disabling any ad blockers to see if that fixes the issue. - Rated 5 out of 5by uzaylul, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by aloola, a year agoIt would be even better if we had an option to make the YouTube header show/hide on mouse hover. Instead of just 2 options hide or show atm.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Eric W, a year agoI'm a longtime user of the Chrome version and just moved to Firefox. YouTube's stock layouts for streams with chat are terrible enough to make this extension one of the essentials. I've never had problems with it, and the dev is quick with any necessary fixes (due to YouTube changing things).
In case it might save someone some trouble with initial setup, make sure you right-click the extension and enable Always Allow on www.youtube.com. I spent a good few minutes trying to figure out why it wasn't working before seeing that step mentioned elsewhere. Developer response
posted a year agoEverything works fine for me (and most users). YouTube is currently A/B testing a new layout for livestreams, where they display chat next to the video in their theater mode. If your issue is with the layout (empty spaces, wrong chat and video size), try using YouTube's theater mode. I will make the extension work with this new layout as soon as it is released for all users. If you're experiencing a different issue (e.g. livestreams theater mode not becoming available), you could send me more details through email or my discord server.Developer response
posted a year agoMake sure to click the extension icon in the top right corner or right click it and choose 'Always allow on www.youtube.com'. For some reason Firefox turns off extensions after you install them or when there is an update.- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13461850, a year agoWorks great. Also the developer fixes problems quickly(because of YouTube changes)
- Rated 4 out of 5by Anonymous, a year agoThe best YouTube livestream chat extension there is. Very simple to use and has fantastic options to customize with.
Developer also updates as soon as YouTube does some tomfoolery which is greatly appreciated.
However a suggestion I may add is having the live chat be able to shift to the bottom of the video player when the browser window is cascaded to the side when there's two windows, similar to how FrankerFaceZ allows that option, because I tend to watch and do stuff on the side and also the YouTube stream does hard crash the browser tab when I cascade, requiring me to sometimes disable the extension in the video player. - Rated 5 out of 5by scoot, a year agoThe features introduced by this extension are so simple and obvious that I can't stomach using YouTube's default half-baked theater mode anymore.
The dev is also very quick to push updates when the Google engineers get bored and decide to start tinkering with YouTube's backend.
Highly recommend! - Rated 5 out of 5by Billy J, a year ago
