di glittertoxin, 4 anni faI appreciate its clear guidelines when it comes to submitting pages. Like many others, I do worry about it being used to target trans people online, but... I don't think there's really an easy way to get around that while still keeping the spirit of the extension (I find that being transphobic and not being trans friendly are not necessarily always the same thing). I guess flagging transphobes or flagging trans-friendly pages would have to take priority in that case... Or maybe I'm overthinking it.
Anyway, I also am wary when it comes to the occasional inclusion of transmeds or their supporters - For example, I know Contrapoints has *said* she doesn't agree with transmeds and supports nonbinary people, but in the past she certainly hasn't demonstrated that through action. It has been a while since I checked up on that situation though, so maybe my own information is out of date. That brings me to the last point. I know this extension aims to tackle a very complex issue; that, combined with the reports being crowdsourced, makes for a really difficult task for its moderators.
Don't expect the filters to be flawless, don't turn your brain off. But this is definitely a helpful starting point and has made my internet experience as a trans person a lot less stressful. In an ideal world, Shinigami Eyes would have the resources to be available for mobile social media apps too... I can dream, haha.

While this used to be very useful, it's turned into another in-community discourse tool as opposed to something that actively helps people be safe at a glance.

Also flags pro-trans folk describing their experiences as "transphobic" and actual transphobes as "pro-trans." The entire premise of the extension was to FLAG transphobia, now that has entirely changed. Do better.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Jazz, 5 giorni faI've been seeing a lot of trans-friendly people falsely marked as anti-trans, just as everyone else has. It's really sad, but you'll just have to double check your sources before immediately jumping to conclusions when you see the red tag on someone.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Angel, 9 giorni faonce an incredible addon, now there has been a boom in anti-nonbinary, anti-xenogender, transmed, anti-transmasc, anti-intersex, and terfs being marked as green. on top of it all, the dev has publicly spouted anti-intersex rhetoric. what happened?

- Valutata 5 su 5di Erin, 11 giorni faThe extension is mostly accurate. I have encountered no more than three false positives/negatives in the two years I've been using it. I am incredibly confused by the recent reviews. I assume it's some social media drama ?
- Valutata 1 su 5di Caydebug, 11 giorni falearned today that this thing marks folks who talk about trans men or intersex folks in a positive light as bad. fuck that noise, thought this thing was useful. uninstalling

- Valutata 1 su 5di Casually_Anonymous, 12 giorni faThe creators of the extension are they themselves anti-trans, leaving countless individuals who are trans or supportive marked as anti-trans, and the transphobics are marked as trans-friendly despite spewing hateful rhetoric. This extension is abandonware anyways, so I highly recommend removing the extension/not adding it at all. It's useless.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18571372, 13 giorni faI much like other users had a negative experience with this add-on. It's WAY too easy to get someone marked as anti-trans but incredibly difficult to get a false flag removed. It's happened to youtubers, tumblr, and bluesky.
It feels like the moderation team doesn't care about anything but what their own echo chamber of friends think. While I haven't personally ran into what they were doing flagging intersex and transmasculine people, I wouldn't be surprised.
To top it all off, I couldn't even remove this add-on normally, it wouldn't let me remove it from my Firefox and kept popping up until I had to go into troubleshooting mode to get it off my browser. Seems suspicious. - Valutata 1 su 5di Poppy, 14 giorni faThis extension is abused for harassment campaigns against trans and intersex people, and the mods don't do anything about it because they also hate trans and intersex people. Not a trustworthy extension at all as it does not do as it is intended, they flag any trans person or intersex person that they don't like.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18779033, 17 giorni faCompletely useless. The creator marks certain people as "transphobic" when they are simply discussing their lived experiences as intersex, transmasculine, nonbinary, or anyone the creator deems "not t-friendly." And "green" marked users spew hateful rhetoric against these communties.
